Delicious food! Large portions, almost too American lol. We had the chicken sandwich, the pancakes (a must) & the summer breakfast. Would recommend all! The service was very attentive & friendly.

This was a recommendation from our Airbnb host & it was wonderful! First resturant we came to after landing in Montreal. The chicken sandwich was excellent! & the service was awesome!
There's a line here for good reason. The food is excellent as is the service for a spot so busy. We had Caesars to start followed by the Chicken Sandwich, Ricotta Pancakes & fingerling potatoes. Everything was fabulous.
You know a place is great when you're planning your next choice from the menu before you leave.

I really loved eating at dandy! My family wants to go again asap. The food was delicious & had giant portions-we didn't finish it all. The fingerling potatoes with aioli were incredibly crispy, salty, & tangy in all the right ways. The pancakes were simple, but done well. They were so thick & soft & the thick caramel syrup with the bitter ricotta cream was delicious. The fried chicken sandwhich was huge & juicy. It could use some hot sauce! Finally, the italiano was classic & delicious. Drinks were good too! There was a long line out the door, though, so don't show up starving.

I brought my parents to have a Mother's Day celebration. The wait time was super quick, like 5-10 minutes & we were served to a nice table. The server was very courteous, & the food was quick to come even if it was packed. The food were all really good & a very good portion. We ate only savoury food. 😋😋My dad & mom really enjoyed their time there & thought it was super tasty. The patates & chicken are super yum!!!!

Endless Summer: 4/5 I enjoyed the large portion & the seasoned avocado was great. The bread & egg was good but didn't wow me. The rest of the ensemble with the veggies & sauce was really good.
Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwhich 5/5: the best for me it had a crunch with the fried egg. It was heavenly a must try.
Dandy's is was so bomb! Worth every penny & every minute of the wait!Every bite was exceptional, from the crispy fried chicken burger to the rich aioli that perfectly complemented the golden potatoes. The service was impeccable, & our food arrived so quick.
The ricotta pancakes were so delicious, I couldn't resist scraping up every last drop of maple syrup with my spoon! If you haven't tried Dandy's yet- you're missing out. We're already counting down the days until we can come back!

My pictures are so bad 😭😭 they do not capture how amazing this food was. Pro tip: you can put the fried chicken on the ricotta pancakes for a chicken&waffle type meal. The ricotta pancakes SLAPPED. The endless summer breakfast was good but just make it at home. The 5 stars is all because of the ricotta pancakes they're amazing. Go for that only & eat at home if you're still hungry
Service was friendly, attentive, & efficient. Place is designed to look spacious which is nice. Food was good but nothing special, especially for the price. I would say the cocktails are the highlight. My sister was of the same opinion for her food. Sausage roll could be better seasoned, mushroom toast was good but a little sweet for some reason, lots of mushrooms though which was great. Presentation could be better, putting the egg on top everytime doesn't make for the best photos. My sister got the fried chicken sandwich & she felt it was just alright, & I agree from the piece I tasted. The pistachio matcha drink initially tasted mostly like Bailey's. Make sure to mix in the pistachio topping to get the full experience which was delicious. Tiramisu latte with Kahlua was great. They do not skimp on the Kahlua.
Cute cozy place at the old port. The only dish to recommend is the chicken sandwich. My sourdough was hard like stone. Concise menu but portions are bit small. Paying extras for the atmosphere.
First impressions: we were 2 people & arrived on a Monday at 11:30 am & saw about 7 or 8 groups ahead of us in line. We were expecting a 1 hour wait & would have been fine with that (we even brought out books to read in line). Nice surprise to see we got seated within 15 minutes. Service: waiter was very friendly & quick & came back several times to refill waters, even during the lunch rush. It took about 40 minutes to get our food after ordering, but again it was the lunch rush Drinks: my wife's $7.00 orange juice tasted suspiciously Tropicana (boo!), but my maple latte was great. Very sweet & tasted more like maple candies than maple syrup. Got an Americano after that which was nice. Food: started with the Chicken sandwich, which was huge & delicious. Fried chicken thighs (not breast) on a fluffy brioche with a herby creamy sauce on a bed of slaw that included granny smith apple. We cut it in half & shared. We added a side of fingerling potatoes which were crunchy & well seasoned with herbs & salt. Came with a side of garlic sauce, & went well together with the sandwich. Last we had the stack of pancakes which remained warm by the time we got to it. The pancakes were dense (not as fluffy as Arthur's) but intentionally so I think. The pool of maple butter at the bottom was awesome & did not get sponged into the bottom pancake. Came with lemon infused mascarpone on the side, which added some bitter to offset the sweet. I liked it, but my wife could have done without (but she still didn't give me her portion!) Overall was a great experience & would return to see what else Dandys has to offer!
