Finally made it to Dandy & it definitely lived up to the hype. The first thing I noticed was how fresh everything tasted, especially the bread-it was warm, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, & honestly one of the best parts of the meal. The fried chicken sandwich was juicy & perfectly cooked, & the egg on top was done just right. The halloumi sandwich was also delicious, with fresh ingredients that worked really well together. Even the side salad was crisp & well-seasoned instead of feeling like an afterthought. Great coffee, friendly service, & a cozy atmosphere. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.
Decent place with subpar service. Food is definitely super overrated, even compared with other local brunch options. & you can get less grumpy service like literally anywhere else in the city. I was really looking forward to the chicken sandwich, but that ended up being only decent as well. The texture of the chicken was good, but the filling in the burger was too mustardy & didn't go well with the chicken for me.
I ordered a chicken burger, which was absolutely delicious. One of the best pieces of fried chicken in a burger I've ever had, for quality & taste. I'm leaving out a fifth star because the meal came with no sides, & the feel of the restaurant was that you were a little bit crowded with the nearby tables.

Dandy is worth the wait, great food & attentive service. The chicken sandwich was perfectly crispy n the apple salad at the bottom of the burger added such a fresh, refreshing touch. Drinks were decent overall, but I'd pass on the matcha latte. will come back again
I came here for brunch, & it was absolutely delicious! I had the fried chicken burger, & wow, the flavors were amazing. The atmosphere is so nice, & the service was great. If you're planning to come for brunch, try to get there early because there might be a bit of a wait in line. But trust me, the wait is totally worth it!

Fantastic find! Was looking for a brunch place that was open during the weekdays to meet a friend. The menu is limited but everything on the menu looks great! My friend tried the chicken salad & loved it. I tried the buttermilk chicken sandwich & was surprised to see the size of the sandwich!! The chicken was super crispy & just delicious. Would definitely go back again to try other dishes for my next brunch.

Super cute spot in old Montreal. Great vibes - short menu but what they do, they do so well! Came in for lunch & got seated right away - but it was a Monday… so no guarantees on a weekend. Super friendly staff, excellent playlist! We had the pasta & chicken salad. Fresh, delicious ingredients & arrived in the right amount of time. Also had the lemonade - yum!
