The tiramisu brioche at Daddy Roll in Montreal is absolutely delicious! It's soft, fresh, & filled with a rich, creamy tiramisu filling that's not overly sweet. The coffee flavor comes through nicely without being overpowering, making it a perfect treat with a cup of coffee. The texture is light & fluffy, & every bite feels indulgent.
The only downside is the price-at around $8 for a single brioche, it's a bit on the expensive side. That said, the quality & flavor make it a nice treat once in a while. Definitely one of the standout items on the menu, & I'd come back for it.
Had to see what the social media hype was about for this newly opened dessert restaurant & boy was I not disappointed.
It was a hot day & I asked for their recommendation for a cold beverage & they suggested the cold cardamom coffee which was divine. Also got the hot version which was equally great.
They had many roll flavoura but I opted for the biscoff & it was light, not too sweet or gooey, just overall perfect in terms of portion size, sweetness & visual esthetics.
The lady servicing us was so friendly. The restaurant was clean & spacious.
They also had a sample up front for one of their pastries - which by the way they have many items apart from the rolls that looked so appealing.
Definitely recommend this place!
Lost count on how many times I've bought the rolls from this shop! Texture is soft & the sweetness level is perfectly on point. We kept some for the next day & just microwaved them for 15-30 sec - still so good.
I'm glad I waited a few weeks before visiting. I didn't experience any of the negative comments from the reviews. I got super smooth service, & the buns were delicious. I was surprised at how soft the buns were. Extremely fluffy. I think this is what they call'high hydration' in baking but either way, so airy. Not too sweet, but it is decadent & quite a big portion regardless of which flavour you choose. Will definitely come again.
We tried the Biscoff roll, the original roll, & a chocolate chip cookie & everything was so delicious. Not overly sweetened & still warm. So yummy 😋
The BEST cinnamon rolls I ever had in my life😙🫶 the brioche is so soft & fluffy ☁? & the flavours are insanely good🤤. The best part is that they are not overly sweet!!
These are my biggest guilty pleasure & I love them so much❤? p.s their peanut chocolate cookies are awesome too~
I've been going to Daddy Roll for a while now & it's honestly my go-to whenever I want something sweet. I always bring my friends there & every single person I've taken is obsessed with it after 😭 The cinnamon rolls are so good & somehow always fresh & perfect. It's also my favorite thing to bring to parties or functions because everyone gets excited when they see the box lol. It genuinely makes people happy & never disappoints. Definitely one of my favorite spots.
This is a beautiful spot, they are awsome sweetheart people in here. I was visiting & they welcomed us in like locals. The rolls are the kind you make a special trip to have.
April 11, 2026: I went at the last minute, 20 minutes before closing & managed to get the Biscoff & Nyx collab for their Butter Melt Caramel cinnamon bun. Needless to say, it's pretty fresh, fluffy, pillowy/soft & delicious. Not too sweet at every bite. Would recommend coming earlier as most options were out when I went close to closing time. Roughly 10$ a bun.
