Terrible experience overall. Very disappointed with the service we received. The waiter wearing the suit & glasses was extremely rude, pushy, & disrespectful throughout the entire interaction. We were even asked to pay before receiving our food, which felt very uncomfortable & unprofessional. On top of that, he kept pressuring us to order extra items even after we said no multiple times.
I've honestly never experienced service like this before. Definitely not a place I would recommend based on how we were treated. Do yourself a favour & stay away!!!!!!
La nourriture est excellente, vraiment wow ! Cependant, le service laisse à désirer. Les serveurs en charge de notre groupe ne sont jamais revenus nous voir une fois la commande passée : aucun suivi pour savoir si tout était à notre goût ou si nous avions besoin de quoi que ce soit. Pourtant, la soirée n'était pas particulièrement achalandée. Il y a aussi eu des erreurs dans les commandes. Je comprends que cela puisse arriver, mais les groupes devraient recevoir le même service que les autres clients, surtout quand un pourboire de 18 % est exigé d'office.
Da Vinci delivers on ambiance & service! this is a genuinely elegant restaurant with polished, attentive staff & food that tastes great. A special shoutout to Vince, who was an outstanding host. He kept the restaurant open late so our group could finish up at our own pace, which meant a lot for a big bachelor party group. Our server was fantastic too, great service & kept us laughing all night, which really added to the atmosphere.
Be prepared: portion sizes are on the smaller side for the price point, & the drinks bill will likely be the biggest line item on your tab. Worth a visit for a refined dining experience, but go in with eyes open on the cost.
One of the best restaurants in Montreal! The food was amazing & the staff were very friendly. Vince in particular provided outstanding service that made the experience even better. Highly recommend & will definitely be coming back!
Had an amazing experience here for my girlfriend's birthday! The food was absolutely incredible. I had the seafood pasta, which was fresh & full of flavour, & my girlfriend loved her butternut squash ravioli. We started with the salmon tartare & beet salad, both delicious & beautifully presented. The service was just as impressive, super attentive & friendly all night. The atmosphere was immaculate, perfect for a special occasion. Vince even came to sit with us, which made it feel really personal. They also treated us to their famous tiramisu & a limoncello digestif such a great touch. Highly recommend!
I went to Da Vinci with my boyfriend, & honestly, the experience was very disappointing.
The food was okay, but nothing special - definitely not what we expected for this kind of restaurant.
The biggest issue was the service. It really felt like the staff only cared about money. The server kept insisting that we add more dishes or order dessert, even after we clearly said we didn't want anything else, which was quite uncomfortable.
When it came time to pay, my boyfriend left a 14% tip before tax, which was already a significant amount given how high our bill was. Despite that, the server seemed upset & walked away showing clear dissatisfaction - very unprofessional.
On top of that, he kept laughing loudly & chatting with the table next to us, creating a noisy & inappropriate atmosphere that disturbed our dinner.
Overall, poor service, unpleasant ambiance, & a strong impression that money is the only priority.
