Went for the Mtl a Table event. The menu consisted of 2 appetizers, main & dessert, for $50. While the flavors were good, the portions were ridiculously small. My main was 3 little scallops in sauce, no veggies (unless you count the garnish) & no rice. I honestly don't know who would be full after such a main. The appetizers were small too, but I figured that's ok cuz they're appetizers. The salmon tartare was finished in 2 bites. The chicken coconut soup was 1/4 of the bowl full. Luckily I had the mango sticky rice for dessert & got some rice there. The other dessert was also very small, coconut cream in two little disks. Leaving still hungry after paying $50 is not good value in my books.
I've been to Canada & tried many restaurants, but this one has really taken me to Thailand. It's delicious & a great value for money, with quality, portions, & authentic Thai flavors, not overly Chinese. I really like it.
A rare place where the vibe & staff are warm & welcoming. The food is creative & you will come back because you feel at home . G the manager is everything!
This place is a true hidden gem. The food is the most authentic Thai you'll find in Montreal, & the staff & owners couldn't be more welcoming. As a foodie, I can honestly say you'll leave with your belly smiling. Don't pay attention to the negative comments-sounds like those folks just walked in on a bad day. :)
Came here for a nice late night dinner for 4
& had a great time. The skewer deal for 5 was perfect to share - pork, chicken, & shrimp options, with the pork being our favourite.
Oysters were small but only $1 & topped with fried shallots & a creamy green garlic sauce to die for 🤤. Service was excellent (Pascale & the team gave great recommendations).
Loved the setup - outdoor seating available, & inside has a cozy vibe with big open windows.
Surprised it wasn't busier for a Wednesday because the food, atmosphere, & staff were all on point. We'll be coming back, merci!
