This is a sweet homey place that more people should try!! The food was classic Hungarian & worth trying, prepared with sincere care. It is family run, great deep paprika spicing, so worth trying. In mile End. Give it a try, you won't regret it. Fresh. I really enjoyed the chicken paprikas, my friend lovvveed the goulash.

We were visiting Montreal, & we were lucky to google'hungarian restaurants'. This family restaurant (& a mini store) is a true gem! Delicious & authentic (!) homemade Hungarian food & pastry. We had soups, Szegedi goulash (sauerkraut beef stew), chicken snitzel with potatoes, & crepes filled with jam. We loved it all! 😋😋 Strongly recommended! 👍🏻

If you're looking for fresh & high quality Hungarian food, look no further. We had 2 of the 3 large salads. Beat salad & mixed salad. Basically pickled salads. Great & refreshing. My partner had the beef goulash. Was a little spicy, & fantastic flavors. I had the chickeb paprikash. All I can say is'wow'. It's a super yummy & creamy paprika filled sauce. I will 100% recommend this family owned restaurant!

We loved the food & atmosphere at Cuisine Hongroise Montreal. The pork schnitzel was crisp & perfectly cooked, the paprikas sauce was flavorful & the nokedli were tender & delicious. The delicate palacsintas filled with cottage cheese & raisins was just like my grandmother used to make. Thank you!

This restaurant can be held up as an example of why Hungarian food is the tastiest & most wholesome cuisine in Central & Eastern Europe. I highly recommend the meals for 2/4 which have a bit of everything. The Esterházy Cake was wonderful.
