Cuba Paisa est perçu comme un endroit chaleureux et animé, où la cuisine cubaine et colombienne est largement appréciée pour ses saveurs authentiques et ses portions généreuses : la bandeja paisa, le poulet grillé et les empanadas reçoivent souvent des compliments pour leur goût et leur abondance, et le service est généralement rapide et sympathique. L'ambiance, avec de la musique live et des soirées festives, est un vrai atout, mais le petit espace peut rendre la salle bruyante et l'addition peut être lente et certains plats manquent de finesse ou ne reflètent pas parfaitement la cuisine cubaine selon les avis. Malgré cela, l'ensemble est vu comme une belle découverte à Montréal pour ceux qui recherchent une expérience conviviale et généreuse, idéale pour célébrer et passer un bon moment en groupe.
Plenty of street parking, note of advice there are steps going up to the restaurant.
I would say the food is more Columbian 90%, than Cuban 10%. Don't let that stop you from coming. The food is bussin! Portion sizes are enormous! Come hungry leave stuffed!
The apps are sorta lacking… Cuban Tamal - maybe 3 pieces of chorizo, but the corn meal was flavorful!
Columbian Empanada- skip that tbh, there mini bites & there's no meat in it, it's odd & they have the salsa verde that pairs with it.
The Bandeja Paisa was slammin! Generous amounts of meat! Rice, tostone, maduro, a salad , chorizo, egg, steal, pork belly omg & the beans- phenomenal, melt in your mouth beans jeez!!! No avocado is provided.
Wife got the chicken platter she loved it & was stuffed!

The food haven't bad testing, it was nice. However, & this is only my personal opinion, the tamal doesn't need to have the corn kernel because the cuban tamal is made with ground corn; it tasted very good though. The ropa vieja wasn't very tasty, frijoles were nice as well as the croquetas. & the reason why I give this score is because the music is very high even during the dinner hours, so you have to scream if you want to keep a conversation ongoing. It could be less louder since the place is small.
What a tremendous establishment. Small, honest & delicious. At first I thought the prices were a tad too high & then I saw the portions. The plates are a deal. I 100% recommend this place to anyone looking. To try Cuban food & recommend the ropa vieja.

Were Cuban, born in Cuba & immigrated to the US. We went to Montreal for a week vacation & we were missing home, a friend recommended this place but we were initially suspicious because we've been stiffed of places labeling themselves as Cuban in the US only to try the food & realize it's not authentic. Here? 10000% authentic. We were thrown back into our childhood, waiting grandmas kitchen when we tried their food. The cook & servers are Cuban, & the food was amazing. It was very reasonably priced & we left feeling SUPER full & couldn't even finish the plate so we took it to go! (It stores well in the fridge). So yes, this is an authentic Cuban restaurant, certified by actual Cubans ❤️
De la comida a rescatar solo los frijoles, el resto frío y los chicharrones llevaban más o menos hechos desde el 2019, la mesera, con todo el respeto, andaba media silvestre, nos dio la atención de cualquier puntico de hospital cubano promedio, mascando chicle y no conocía el menú
I would give it a five stars if it wasn't for the size of the place (a bit small) & it could have more variety on the menu given the extensive variety of Cuban & Colombian dishes there is. The food is excellent though.
El mejor restaurante colombo-Cubano, la tipica bandeja paisa deliciosa con los sabores verdaderamente colombianos! Y la comida cuba ni hablar!, El mejor servicio y ambiente!
