OMG! Read great reviews of this place, so had to try it for myself! It did NOT disappoint! What an AMAZING experience! The baristas are outstanding!!! Friendly, helpful, & just all-around great! Shout out to AWESOME MIA!!! Her recommendations were spot on! Coffee is delicious & a work of art! The almond croissant is to die for ... in fact, we returned the following day just to pick up a few for our travels!
The building is breathtaking! Worth the wait in line, but know it moves quickly! Such a coooool, unique place to frequent that will leave you feeling warm & fuzzy, lol!
Merci, Mia! :-)View more
Very photogenic former-bank space. Likely the grandest cafe you'll ever find. Cashier on my visit was kind enough to indulge my terrible French skills. Croissant was fairly good for Canada, but lacked exceptional loft. Flat White was perfectly acceptable.View more
I've had a lot of croissants & chai lattes, but these may have been the best. My drink & chocolate croissant came out to $15, which for the quality & the beautiful space you enjoy I think is worth it. Just be aware they don't take cash here.View more
Gorgeous. Old bank building turned into a café & co-working space. Rent a room for your next meeting or have a Montreal style bagel with smoked salmon & some pastries. The almond croissant was delicious & not overly sweet. The staff were friendly & helpful.View more
Not just a hype. It is the real deal!!
Best avocado Toast I've ever had. The coffee were on point!! However, the croissants were just okay. Best the whole vibe, service makes up for it.View more
It feels like having coffee in a bibliothèque
It's a huge space very busy not very cozy & hard to find a seat
However i liked the coffee there also the almond croissant is so tastyView more
Lovely ambiance. latte & almond croissant are soo addictive. The architecture of old charm is impressive. We just kept coming back. Prices are a little more than Starbucks but the quality is far superioView more
Un peau cher, j'ai juste pris un latte petit & croissantView more
Not a coffee shop for rich people, Starbucks in cotes des neige is better than here. The coffee was very mediocre & the croissant was the worst I have ever tasted in my life, even worse than the croissant at provigo. I give this store a suggestion, raise the price & improve the food quality. The venue was overcrowded &
made me feel uncomfortable. I would rather pay $30 for a cup of coffee than drink coffee in this environment. The clerk at this coffee shop couldn't distinguish the names of the customers, causing many customers to wait there, which was very embarrassing. The clerk was poorly trained & didn't smile.View more
When I visited, I wanted to try their croissant they ran out 😭, but I tried a bagel with butter, cream cheese, & jam-& wow! It was incredible. Highly recommend!
The coffee was below average & chocolate pastry was good but fairly standard. It's also very overpriced.
I wasn't entirely satisfied with the seating arrangement. I understand it's a café & co-working space, but most seats were occupied by people working for hours, without needing to make any reservation. This left little room for those who simply wanted to enjoy a coffee or meal. I even noticed a gentleman uncomfortably sitting on a bench in the corner, holding his bowl of soup because there were no tables available to set it down.
I would give a 4 if the seating situation was better!View more
Croissant was okay, pain au raisin is decent, espresso pulls were subpar. That said, the atmosphere, the ambiance, the service, & the vibes were incredible. I wasn't there to read or work but almost felt like I should go & grab a book to come back & read. The ceilings are incredibly high because this used to be a massive bank, & I'm so glad they've maintained the architecture & the grandness of it all. There are rooms you can book to cowork out of, otherwise you can pull up in the very big comfy couches or the tables all around. Highly recommend for the vibes!View more
I'm in love with this place!!! Great almond croissant & flat white. It is packed & may have to share seating with other people but I had a wonderful experience.View more
Have been here twice in 2 capacities in the last 6 months. First time I was in town on business & we rented one of the meeting rooms for our team to collaborate in. I was skeptical about the noise level inside the bubble but had no problem. Bonus was at lunch, we ordered at the counter & they brought it to our room So we could continue to work. Recently came with some friends for breakfast & had time to marvel at the beauty of the building after enjoying delicious croissants & coffee. Definitely a stop for any reason.View more
Honestly, just came here for the hype & the beautiful interior: High ceiling, warm lighting, lots of seating. I was surprised with that beyond their great coffee, the almond croissant & pan au chocolat were great too!View more
View more
Highly recommend to come for coffee & chill! Self service on seating, so you can choose wherever you wanna sit! Even the almond croissant was outstanding!View more
There is NOTHING to complaint about their Croissants 🥐. It is the BEST croissant that I have ever had. I tried to come back the next day to get more croissants before leaving but it was sold out around 10AM. Coffee is also good. Located in the center of downtown, very easily commuted.View more
drinks were good, food can be better (the croissant was salty?) & even though the interior is nice, there were so many flies when we came inView more
It's an amazing cafe & totally worth the hype! I got a bagel & a croissant & both were delicious. Also the service was great & the staff were friendly with English speakers 😉View more
The architecture is mind blowing & the cafe is huge! Their matcha latte was okay but the almond croissant was very filled & delicious!View more
Really cool architecture, & good location. Croissants were very good & drinks were good as well. Seemed a bit hyped up for what it was. It's a nice cafe in an interesting old bank but it lacks the charm of some smaller cafes. Overall a very good experience though.View more
It is in a lovely space in former bank, nicely done. Staff was very friendly, it was fairly busy & not easy to find a spot to sit, low coffee tables & benches, & workin spaces. I rated it lower because I find their wraps, sandwiches overpriced($17-$19), a cheese croissant, nothing special $6. I've seen it, but I wouldn't recommend it. Have a look inside & then continue on to another place, plenty of coffee shops & restaurants in that area.View more
Great ambience, coffee was ok. Croissant was good.View more
My Americano was good, but my almond croissant was better. Interesting atmosphere in the old bank & friendly staff. Would recommend.View more
Lots of vegetarian/vegan options not listed: farro salad, yoghurt parfait, chia pudding (coconut milk). Croissant was just ok; for 10am I expected more crispy/crunchy. The mocha glaze was amazing; better than the cappuccinoView more
View more
Stopped in on a recent visit to Montréal. I was blown away by the beautiful architecture—what a great spot to enjoy tea & a pastry. I had a London Fog & it was very good; the croissants are wonderful. Plenty of seating, staff was friendly, & prices were good.
