STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR COMPUTER WORK

I would not recommend this café if you'd like to work on a computer or need to charge a device.

The café has only three outlets. I plugged my computer into one that ran alongside a display shelf of products. After being there for about 45 minutes, a worker told me I had to unplug because the cord was a tripping hazard & because my plug did not fit their'aesthetic.' To be clear, the plug was about two inches from the display case & was not in a location where anyone could reasonably trip over it.

I explained that this was the third & final outlet available & asked what I was supposed to do instead. He simply repeated that it didn't fit the aesthetic. He said he wasn't kicking me out, but I'm not sure how I was supposed to continue working without access to an outlet. The café was also filled with other people working on computers.

I told him that if the café doesn't want people working on computers or using certain outlets, they should simply put up a sign saying so. I have no issue with a café having rules about laptop use or outlets, but those rules should be clearly communicated rather than enforced after purchase based on whether someone's charging cable fits the café's'aesthetic,' especially when the stated tripping hazard seemed unreasonable.

They have good coffee, but personally, I was very turned off by this unpleasant interaction & would not return.

Déçue de ma 1ere visite , j'aurais aimé mettre une belle note . Mais j'ai pas eu d'accueil , pas même un regard .
Le cortado , ne m'as pas impressionnée dans sa petite tasse . & le sandwich dejeuner non plus . Mais pour le decor avec les belles plantes , c'est mignon .
Rarement je mets des mauvaises notes j'essaie toujours d'y voir du positif , mais jai pas eu de chance cette journee

Such a great neighbourhood cafe! The coffee is great, food is even better, & pastries are sooo good! The customer service has always been so great here, the baristas are always happy to talk & give recommendations & they even gave me a pastry on the house just for it being a little broken which I thought was such a nice gesture! I can't wait to visit more often :)

Gorgeous spot in the Plateau with fabulous coffee, sandwiches & speciality drinks. The staff are amazing! I love that they are open 7 days a week & that they open so early - 6 a.m.!

I ordered a pastry & an iced latte. The pastry was honestly not very flavourful for my taste, & a staff seemed a little unfriendly. I had expected to relax in a nice atmosphere, but I couldn't really do that. That said, one staff member kindly typed the Wi-Fi password into myphone for me. I really appreciated.
