Wanna drop in by yourself or have a hat with a small group over (very good) coffee - this should definitely be in your rada
Can't really comment on food as i only had a coffee. But it was a damn good coffee. Happened to meet one of the owners & he was very kind, & clearly a generous person. The atmosphere was friendly, warm, welcoming. ended up chatting well into the evening with some other customers. Wishing this coffee shop longevity & success
Absolutely everything thing you want a quaint Montreal neighbourhood coffee shop to be: genuinely friendly, laid back staff, a small but first rate selection of pastries & sandwiches, & simply outstanding coffee.
This is a quaint little coffee shop & cafe along Chem. de la Côte-des-Neiges. They have a few small outdoor tables only, you can do take-away as well. Cote Cafe opens early (6am to 6pm daily), making this a perfect stop for coffee if planning to walk up to Mont Royal or over to Saint Joseph's Oratory first thing in the morning.
We stopped by around 6.45am recently, barista was ready to go, preparing a very good allonge & cortado, two of the best coffees we had during our stay in Montreal. Cinnamon bun served on the day was pretty good as well. Would happily return to Cote Cafe based on this very good experience.
Best cafe ever. I am obsessed with the coffee & the staff are the most warm, silly, fun baristas. Must try spot.
Wonderful hole-in-the-wall shop with great coffee & pastries. Friendly baristas as well.
Montreal's little hidden gem!
Partially owned & operated by Ryan; this small quaint coffee shop is filled with ambiance if you can exercise patience. Your patience will be rewarded with a flavorful beverage, try the Montreal Fog!
The key to life is patience & appreciation. As the location is small & operated by a one man show exercising patience is essential. Ryan juggles between making beverage magic, selecting pastries of patrons choice, prepping ice cream or finger foods.
an absolute gem, opens early, & it's conveniently located near guy-concordia area.
we found this place after needing a cafe that opened early morning on a saturday & we were blown away by the quality of their brews. most notable was the salted peanut butter latte, what a drink.
their pastries are also of high quality & flavour, if you're serious about your coffee, give them a try. will be coming back!
Just a bliss of a place to have coffee.
The staff are super friendly & cool!
Great spot for coffee to go; inside there's just enough room to order & pay for your coffee; outside there are a few tables but the street is pretty close by. Great location to stop at for a cup before heading up the mountain.
The drinks here are EXCELLENT. Both the coffee & matcha were a 5 star. However the food was a little disappointing! The breakfast sandwhich was premade & contained pickles which was not advertised on the menu, the wraps were also served cold in the middle which made the pre cooked scrambled egg unappetizing, they were also dry! I'm not one to often post reviews but my experience here was really not the best.
The drinks are an absolute 5 stars & would do again.
If you're looking for breakfast I wouldn't reccomend
This place has everything you need to enjoy a great time while sipping your coffee & biting into the best buttery, crunchy croissant. Just keep in mind, they sell out fast! Whether you're visiting Montreal or live here, don't miss out.
It is located near our Apartment & we checked it out today . It is a small place with very friendly service . The coffee as well as my iced Matcha Latte was very tasty & we enjoyed it in front of the cafe . Definetely coming back here again .
Super cute little coffee shop. Amazing friendly service & great coffee & desserts.
Very cute little cafe with good coffee. Not much space inside for a cold or rainy day. But there are some chairs outside to enjoy the summer weather.
A Hidden Gem in Montréal - Cozy, Delicious, & So Charming!
I stumbled upon Cote Café during a quick stop on my way through the Côte-des-Neiges area, & I'm so glad I did. This place is truly one of the cutest cafés I've ever come across in Montréal. Tucked away just enough to feel like a local secret, the cozy ambiance immediately drew me in. Warm wood accents, minimalistic decor, & soft lighting give it that perfect blend of modern & homey. You can tell a lot of care has gone into crafting the vibe.
I ordered a cappuccino & it was fantastic. The coffee itself was rich & well-balanced, with a unique & refreshing layer. It wasn't overpowering at all; just enough to make you stop & say,'Wow, that's different - in the best way.'
I also picked up a spinach danish roll, which was flaky, warm, & packed with flavor. It had just the right amount of filling & a buttery, golden crust that practically melted in my mouth. Fresh, satisfying, & clearly made with quality ingredients.
The staff was friendly & welcoming, even though I was just popping in quickly. It's the kind of place where you could just as easily sit for hours reading or working as you could grab something on the go.
Overall, Cote Café has earned a spot on my list of Montréal must-visits. Whether you're in the neighborhood or just passing through, it's absolutely worth a stop. Highly recommend!
The coffees are perfect, they were out of pastries though, really cute place would recommend going here
