an absolute gem, opens early, & it's conveniently located near guy-concordia area.
we found this place after needing a cafe that opened early morning on a saturday & we were blown away by the quality of their brews. most notable was the salted peanut butter latte, what a drink.
their pastries are also of high quality & flavour, if you're serious about your coffee, give them a try. will be coming back!View more

Absolutely divine. We discovered this on our first trip to Montreal walking our dog early in the morning. They were one of the only places near Mt Royal open around 7am, & oh my goodness we got so lucky. The espresso & drinks were best of the best, as were the baked goods & service. Also lovely dog friendly seating right outside the cafe.
We ended up going here every morning of our trip, & it truly captured the essence of what we were hoping to experience in Montreal. When we return we are making sure our air bnb or hotel is walking distance from Côte Cafe!View more

A Hidden Gem in Montréal - Cozy, Delicious, & So Charming!
I stumbled upon Cote Café during a quick stop on my way through the Côte-des-Neiges area, & I'm so glad I did. This place is truly one of the cutest cafés I've ever come across in Montréal. Tucked away just enough to feel like a local secret, the cozy ambiance immediately drew me in. Warm wood accents, minimalistic decor, & soft lighting give it that perfect blend of modern & homey. You can tell a lot of care has gone into crafting the vibe.
I ordered a cappuccino & it was fantastic. The coffee itself was rich & well-balanced, with a unique & refreshing layer. It wasn't overpowering at all; just enough to make you stop & say,'Wow, that's different - in the best way.'
I also picked up a spinach danish roll, which was flaky, warm, & packed with flavor. It had just the right amount of filling & a buttery, golden crust that practically melted in my mouth. Fresh, satisfying, & clearly made with quality ingredients.
The staff was friendly & welcoming, even though I was just popping in quickly. It's the kind of place where you could just as easily sit for hours reading or working as you could grab something on the go.
Overall, Cote Café has earned a spot on my list of Montréal must-visits. Whether you're in the neighborhood or just passing through, it's absolutely worth a stop. Highly recommend!View more

What a gem! This café is super small but big enough to warm your appetite & coffee needs! First, I gotta say, the barista was super nice! Very friendly, conversational & always smiling. Very helpful to give recommendations as well. My friend & I went on a Sunday afternoon, & we ordered a latte, the Rose Mocha & a grilled cheese spinach & feta danish! It was all delicious we had to order another danish to go.
I would just hope they bring back the Salted Peanut Butter latte, it was the best drink I've ever tried!View more

The drinks are great, pastries are delicious & an amazing staff, Charles deserves a raise or a second cafe🫡 Came looking to ask a few questions for a project, Charles took time to explain every single aspect of the coffee industry to help me out. From sourcing, how to store my beans, roasting , types of coffee, the different roasts, how to make an espresso shot ...etc Not just very friendly but he is very passionate & highly knowledged about his work & has an amazing soul. What a lovely, lovely café! The space itself is so warm, inviting, & relaxing to the spirit. I was happy the customer before me took some time to give his order so I could take a moment to sit & just enjoy being in that space. It gave me time to look around & appreciate the ambiance. The super cute tables outside, the plants inside, the eclectic & grounding feel of the place just makes you wanna sit there, maybe read a book, & enjoy your coffee. The service was top quality. The only bummer to my experience is that the matcha latte was so good I finished it fast, ha! Will definitely go back & most definitely recommend! That café is a VIBE. Je suis passée par hasard devant le Côte Café aujourd'hui & suis contente d'y être entrée! La barista souriante & agréable m'a préparé un délicieux flat white à base de café ZAB! Ce petit café comble définitivement un manque dans le quartier: du café de spécialité avec des viennoisseries de qualité. Je recommande d'y entrer & de profiter de la belle température pour s'installer sur la terrasse de ce tout petit café! 10/10 super mignon! Merci xxView more
