We had such a lovely breakfast at Cora Déjeuners! Our server, Céline, truly made the experience unforgettable. She was incredibly attentive, professional, & genuinely friendly with all of us. Even though we don't speak much French, she was so kind & patient, making us feel comfortable the entire time.

For breakfast, we ordered cappuccinos & the Strawberry Avalanche for Fannie, but with a little twist - we swapped the strawberries for bananas & chose chocolate sauce instead of strawberry sauce. We also ordered a similar dish, but instead of French toast, it came as a crêpe filled with banana & chocolate (I can't remember the exact name, but it was delicious!).

Above all, I want to highlight the outstanding service from Céline - she really elevated our visit & made the breakfast so enjoyable.

The place looks cleans & the staff is cordial. This was my second time going at this location. However, 2 days ago, near the end of eating my breakfast, a dead bug was found in my meal. Situation reported to the server who witnessed the dead bug & she took the plate away. To my surprise, NO discount given for the dead bug situation when I received the bill. I had to ask the server to seek for the discount to the management. For a contaminated meal with a bug, it should have been automatic for the management to give the discount. Again, to my suprise, a poor 15% discount was given. A dead bug in someone's meals can cause food poisoning! Including, that it raises questions about the food safety (salubrité alimentaire). A full reimbursement should have been given. Cora is a nice breakfast chain but unfortunately, I'm not sure we will go back at that location.

Good long standing breakfast & lunch restaurant chain with consistent quality across locations. Typical breakfast-oriented dishes including eggs, pancakes, waffles, crepes, omelets, breakfast sandwiches etc. & all the usual trimmings & sides. Fast friendly service & locations are clean & well tended.
