Saturday, April 18. My daughter & I decided to take a walk along Mont Royal Avenue. We deliberately skipped breakfast so we could eat at the'well-known' restaurant Cora, as our friends had told us it had'excellent' service.
When we arrived, we were quite hungry & went in for breakfast. I can't say anything negative about the quality of the food - everything was delicious & beautifully presented. Satisfied & happy, we left & continued our walk.
A few minutes later, we realized we needed to use the restroom, so we returned to Cora. We politely asked the girl at the cash register if we could go in. Unfortunately, she responded with a very harsh'no,' right in front of many customers standing around the counter. The waiters who had been serving us & had seen us just a few minutes earlier were standing nearby.
Sadly, her rude behavior completely ruined the positive impression we had of your establishment. I would advise anyone visiting Cora, especially those with medical conditions, to think carefully before going there.
Thanks to that staff member for making us feel humiliated & disrespected.
Samedi 18 avril. Ma fille & moi avons décidé de nous promener le long de l'avenue du Mont-Royal. Nous avons volontairement sauté le petit-déjeuner afin de pouvoir manger au restaurant « bien connu » Cora, car nos amis nous avaient dit que le service y était « excellent ».
À notre arrivée, nous avions très faim & nous sommes entrées pour prendre le petit-déjeuner. Je ne peux rien dire de négatif sur la qualité des plats - tout était délicieux & joliment présenté. Satisfaites & de bonne humeur, nous sommes parties & avons poursuivi notre promenade.
Quelques minutes plus tard, nous avons réalisé que nous avions besoin d'utiliser les toilettes, nous sommes donc retournées chez Cora. Nous avons poliment demandé à la jeune fille à la caisse si nous pouvions entrer. Malheureusement, elle nous a répondu par un « non » très sec, devant de nombreux clients présents autour du comptoir. Les serveurs qui nous avaient servies & qui nous avaient vues quelques minutes auparavant se tenaient à proximité.
Malheureusement, son attitude impolie a complètement gâché l'impression positive que nous avions de votre établissement. Je conseillerais à toute personne souhaitant visiter Cora, en particulier celles ayant des problèmes de santé, de bien réfléchir avant de s'y rendre.
Merci à cette employée de nous avoir fait sentir humiliées & irrespectées.

Le service était impeccable & la serveuse très agréable & professionnelle. Les assiettes étaient bien remplies avec une vraie portion de fruits frais & une portion raisonnable de pommes de terre (& non pas une tonne de pommes de terre & 2 ou 3 morceaux de fruits qui se battent en duels).
En bref, on s'est régalé.

Menu & plats variés & de qualité, temps d'attente après la commande très raisonnable, & une atmosphère du restaurant calme, agréable & propre. Notre serveuse, Anne Gabriel, était très aimable, gentille & professionnelle. Je recommande vivement cet endroit, qui a d'ailleurs une histoire intéressante derrière lui.

We had a good service but otherwise surprisingly disappointing by this branch.
We Ordered chocolate banana pancake & the construction breakfast. The pancake were room temperature & taste frozen. The sausages as well, they were still cold in the middle.
Also a strong smell coming from the floor. Didn't look very clean.
