Amazing experience! I went here with my cousin & ordered a plate of rice cakes along with the crispy rice cakes & fried chicken. Went on a Friday night, very quiet. The waitress did minimum effort to serve us & straight up put a large amount of tip herself on the machine when we paid.
Fried chicken is decent, it's super crispy. I brought the left over home & it was still crispy. Soy & garlic is not very saucy. If you like to dip your chicken in sauce I recommend green onion fried chicken.
Other notes:
-Rice cake is good & medium spicy.
-5 small Rice roll cost 10$ very pricy.
-The pitcher of beer came with some room temperature glass.View more

For abour 25$, you get to enjoy some flavourful Korran fried chicken which was quite tasty. I really enjoyed how the chicken was still tender & juicy which isn't the case in a lot of other restaurants. I do however feel like the portions are a bit small. I don't know why but I was expecting the food to be served with rice & appetisers but there was none of that. The chicken was also not really crispy but that's a given since it was a delivery order. I would love to go eat at the restaurant & try thejr fried chicken served fresh, it wouod be so much better. The sauces were quite flavourful & balanced in flavours which was great. They paired so well with the fried chicken & the salad.View more

Ordered on Ubereats & the chicken came as the smallest portion possible - definitely the smallest compared to other similar Korean restaurants' in similar price range. Chicken is also dried & hard.View more

I've been a Comon customer since 2018, & I still go there. Simply because it's a bit hard to find a better restaurant since Shabu Shabu closed their business. I'll keep the review short. Quality : Hard to find better Korean restaurants in Montreal 5/5 Quantity : Decent portions 5/5 Price : Since the pandemic, prices have risen drastically. I'd give them a 3/5 as a full chicken for $50 is just out of control. Service : Acceptable. Like many restaurants, they overpromise ETA pickup time. I hate this because they know that if the ETA is too long, people will cancel order. 3/5 All in all, 4/5 is a fair score.View more

The fried chicken was very good, however $20 for a bowl of bibimbap that was only half full & barely contained any meat is unacceptable. Although it was good, that amount of bibimbap should have been $10, even in 2024. I was very shocked when I saw the box beside the giant billView more

Best fried chicken in town. The chicken stays crispy throughout the entire meal & the sauces are seasonned just right. The sweet & spicy chicken is not really spicy at all, but still very delicious. The basic soy sauce & garlic is just perfect. Try it for yourself! They provide small side dishes that are very well marinated & pairs well with the chicken. The portion for the japchae is very generous, we had to bring it home. This is run by a korean family & I have been clients of them for years, & the quality has never lessened. This is authentic korean food. I highly recommend.View more

I am Korean myself & do not necessarily go to Korean restaurant often. Based on the google review, I have decided to give it a try & did some take out & it is a success. I tried the original fried chicken, small gimbap (Vegetarian) & mini mandu to share with the child. Everything was packed nicely & priced fairly. The pieces of chicken are large, juicy & crispy & gimbap have simple ingredients but very flavorful. Mini mandu was a big hit for the child, & we had a great supper. I am looking forward to try other Korean dishes such as bibimbap & stir fried dishes next time. Glad to have a nice authentic Korean restaurant in the neighborhood.View more

Woww I'm so sad the ndg location closed. 😭😭😭 the terrace was so cute I had the best dates ever here!!! The food was ALWAYS amazing, the best friend chicken ever (the only time I liked the one that's called cheese powder or whatever), amazing cold noodles, amazing Kimbap. The terrace was so cute & romantic with lights. Literally the only part I didn't like was the bathroom. & I live right by a famous fried chicken place & I still prefer comon over a LOT of places

Ordered fried chicken, hot stone bibimbap, & seafood pancake. Love the hot stone, which gives out the hot & crunchy taste of the rice! Chicken is juicy inside & crunchy outside, sauce is amazing. Pancake is a bit disappointing.View more
