Coffee & hot chocolate are fine, however the atmosphere is meh. No music & it's very cold. Bathrooms are also not clean.
The cheesecake was really good - rich, creamy, & well-balanced in sweetness. The white hot chocolate was smooth & comforting, overly sweet & served warm. The chocolate muffin was just okay - decent but nothing special compared to the other items. Overall, a nice experience, with the cheesecake being the highlight.
i went there a couple of time but today i ordered a trio sandwich muffin. The chocolate banana muffin was looking suspicious but i ate a bit & discovered FLIES inside it on a rotten banana piece. I complained & what did i get ? another similar rotten-looking muffin. I dont know why i'm writing on google, i should report that to the sanitary dep ------------------------- Edit: After discussion with the HQ, they're taking that seriously wich is for me a proof of good faith & hopefully, an isolated incident
Pior chocolate quente que tomei na minha vida, simplesmente nao tem gosto de chocolate. 8$ mais mal gasto em Montreal. Tive que comprar o bolo de chocolate pra tirar o gosto ruim de boca, ele era gostoso pelo menos.
This place is amazing! Chocolate cake is delicious & it is definitely the best chocolate cake i've ever had. I'll definitely come again as the staff were extremely kind too!
Do you remember the first time you rode a bike? Or what about the first time you received a passport? Life experiences such as these exceed our understanding of normalcy because they intrinsically remind us of our humanity & dignity. Likewise, I can say I remember my first time visiting Columbus Café & Co Crescent on 1370 Saint-Catherine St. W. - It was a cold February morning & at an ontological level I was curious to taste their mocha & chocolate hazelnut muffin. I was pleased with the order & service experience. Neither the Barista nor I brought up any controversial topics & we exchanged the warmest of superficial pleasantries. (The irregularities in cadence were undeniable) Needless to say. I went on to grab a seat & was eager to enjoy the environment let alone the warm beverage & delectable. I sat down at nearby table & sitting on the table was a sign. It wrote the following that Laptops were forbidden on the table. In smaller writing it wrote "Teleworkers, we love you but for parity, we're keeping some tables available for others. Thanks for your understanding." Being the teleworker that I am, it would be a bit of understatement to say my world was changed from those three little words "we love you". To know that as teleworker I'm loved by Columbus Café & Co... My heart was fluttered with emotions as I truly felt like I hit truly hit the psychological jackpot because I could now relinquish my feelings to this Café. I could receive the stability & emotional certainty I've been deeply craving. I could now truly believe that no matter what I do, how I act, what I say, I'm loved by this café. Folks.. to be honest.. I found the mocha pretty good, & the muffin a touch underwhelming. But when you're loved... When a café provides such fealty & steadfastness... Well.. You really can't put a price tag on this type of commitment.
We ordered hot chocolate & latte with a cheese cake. We did not like them because they included too much sugar. Otherwise, the place was good.
