This is a must visit if you are a tequila or margarita fan! We got here early on a Thursday & got to chat with the owner for a while. He's a chemist in every sense of the word. What he's doing with ingredients is next level. You can see this in his drinks. I order a spicy marg almost every where I go & this might be the best one I've ever had. He's taken the unstable ingredients in a traditional margarita & elevated it into something new, but still so familiar. You might think, it can't be this good without the usual recipe. No ice, no salt rim - but you don't need any of that! It's a perfect sip.View more

Calsa verde cocktail was very good, one of the best I ever had. Dj was playing too. bartender with the hat was super nice. but the bartender with the gloves splashed me with whatever drink he was making multiple times. He seemed a bit annoyed. Cozy speakeasy downtown Montreal. I didn't realize it was a speakeasy, & couldn't find it at first, but there is a sign on a glass door & someone is there to lead you into a dimly lit basement bar. All the cocktails are made with mezcal or tequila & they're excellent. The staff is friendly & attentive as well.View more
