It is not bad but it does not deserve the current high valuation. My sandwich was extremely salty (they added extra salt for some reason), the hot sauce seemed more asian than italian & the mozzarella felt like rubber. Ok if you need something to eat & the staff is very friendly. But I would not come back for the food.
adorable spot in Old Montreal. The italian sandwiches are quite good though to me (tristate/NJ sub aficionado), though not unusually delicious. the standouts to me with the'The Mortazza,' a delightful breakfast sandwich & a steal at just 10CAD: fluffy egg patty + mortazza & mozzarella + vinaigrette'd tomato & red onion + a little bit of pesto. extremely good. pair with a pistaccio (made with real pistachio paste) & it's the ingredients for a beautiful morning~!! nice staff too!!
I ate here in November on a rainy day. I won't dwell on the quality of the food, which wasn't bad (although, being Italian, I have eaten better panini in my life), but on the treatment I received. My plan was to eat there & stay to study for a bit, waiting for the rain to stop. I was not allow to do. Immediately after finishing my panini, about 15 minutes after arriving, I was asked from the one who seemed to be the owner of the place, to leave, even though the place wasn't so busy & outside was still raining.
I felt uncomfortable, I recommend the place only if you want to be treated rudely!!
Thick & delicious sandwiches, best spot in the Old Port for a genuinely delicious Italian sandwich
Go there! Experience the joy of enjoying a great Italian Sandwich. Porchetta for the win 🏆
Best sandwiches in town. More Italian style. It's must try. Honestly i should keep this place a secret. I much place to sit as it is more of a take out place but if you're lucky you get can a booth. They also have great clothing.
Fantastic, authentic Italian Deli. You'd have to travel to Rome to get a better sandwich, dessert or coffee. Excellent food, plus a neighborhood steeped old world charm. Perfetta service too!
Delicious italian sandwiches in the Old Port.
I was pleasantly surprised by how cozy & retro the restaurant feels. The sandwiches were really tasty, & the salad was superb! Service felt a little bit off, but the rest outweighted it.
Totally recommended if you're around the Old Port.
