This instantly became one of my new favorite restaurants & it's an easy recommendation to make.
Yummy vegan thai food. The peking duck was really good so was the curry & the mushroom app.
The guy who looks like Slash was our waiter & he was super cool!

Amazing vegan Thai food for meat lovers! The faux beef & duck tasted like the real thing. Not to mention the curries & noodles which were made to culinary perfection. Would go back again & again.
The place was absolutely great. For a vegan place, there was a lot of food I thought were actually meat. We had the set menu & I'll definitely go back to try other combinations.
Best restaurant I tried in MTL. I had several Thai & Vegan Thai food & this one is above most. each of the menu items look texture & flavour were on point. The beef fish & prawns are so creatively recreated in a plant based version.
Very lively restaurant (not very quiet or private) , service was top notch & friendly. I had the peanut butter dumplings & the fried spring rolls - both were delicious & hot, but I had the tofu with peanut sauce, crispy spinach & sticky rice was sub par. The tofu was soggy & flimsy, not enough peanut sauce & crispy spinach was tasteless. For the price per meal, I was definitely not impressed.
Visited without a reservation & were informed that we could be seated in a table but had 1 hour to order & eat our food. It gets really packed & can feel a bit loud. Food was delicious, I'm not a vegetarian & really enjoyed the experience. I had a vegan beef in yellow curry that tasted like real beef. Would definitely visit again, but next time I'll make a reservation.
Expérience incroyable!!! Nourriture excellente, euphorisante. Je ne suis vraiment pas « foodie » en temps normal! Mais j'ai vraiment trouvé ce restaurant tellement excellent que j'y pense sans cesse. Le cari vert était incroyable. Je recommande sans hésiter!

The food is amazing, as always. We've been coming to ChuChai periodically for 15 years. It had never failed to deliver. Even as someone who is not vegetarian & usually orders the duck, ChuChai's duck is good. It will be a little different, but not much & the flavors are great. Oh, just in case: there is no meat in any dishes. All meat analogs.
Kiao satay was delicious.Miam Kram could have been better, mostly a weird mix of textures, but not bad. My friend enjoyed his Pad Keemao. Panang Neua was delicious, with the rice noodles side order. Tapioca & coconut pieces dessert were a great combination & well presented. Le Tigre cocktail was smooth & a little spicy.
Première fois que j'essaie un restaurant vegane & j'ai été impressionné! La nourriture était savoureuse & le service excellent. J'y retournerai, c'est certain!
