My family & I had a wonderful experience here. The food was super good & the decor was nice. I had the vegan duck red curry with sticky rice & it was delicious! Would recommend the fried shrimp appetizer as well.
Amazing restaurant. We were 75% meat eater & we did not feel like we were eating vegan food. It was really amazing. The service was great. The servers gave great recommendations & allowed us to stay & talk even though they were closing. Would recommend!
The character of this place is minimal yet pretty with a cozy atmosphere & amazing food! We tried Pad thai, Veg Fried Rice, Dumplings with Peanut sauce & Chicken Skewer & all four dishes were scrumptious. Can't recommend enough if you are into vegan & thai.
PS: The bar seats were not very comfortable to sit but the food made up for it!
My great uncle in Toronto told me about this place. A few years ago, & every time I would see him he would ask if I went, & I would say no, & he always looked extremely disappointed. I finally went with my girlfriend & it was awesome! The cocktails are great, & the food is amazing! I’m very much a carnivore, & it was very difficult for me to tell that their “meat” is not real meat. 100% would recommend

Great service & so many options for food!!! You may get overwhelmed but I'm sure everything is delicious, you can't go wrong. The vegan duck was delicious. If you want to finish off with dessert, I recommend the fried banana 🍌🍌🍌
We love the restaurant & have been there several times. The food & the service are just excellent, there is no bad food choice because everything is delicious! That time we decided to take the menu (55$/person) & I honestly felt disappointed. I think it is very overpriced for the appetizers they give you (a small salad & just a tiny bite of the rest of them, just one dumpling, not even half a summer roll, a spoon of a vegan duck salad). So for this I don't think it's worth taking the menu. I would recommend either lowering the price (35-40$ seems reasonable) or giving a bigger quantity on the appetizers (really, the size was pretty ridiculous...). We will come back for sure, but we won't repeat the menu!
Our group had an awesome dining experience at ChuChai. The staff was super friendly & attentive. We highly recommend Ped Palo (Highly recommend the crispy vegan duck) & Mangue & riz collant. This place hits all of the vibes - the decor, food & drinks. We will definitely come back again! Looking forward to trying other dishes.
Mon resto préféré. Le personnel est sympathique & professionnel. La bouffe est délicieuse. Jamais été déçu, une seule fois, de mes passages au ChuChai. Je recommande particulièrement, le canard au cari rouge.
ChuChai is by far my favourite restaurant. Even if you are not vegan, don't miss out on this place! Every dish is so well done & so delicious. I highly recommend the breaded mushrooms (taste a little like chicken wings), the peanut sauce chicken skewers & the duck (hard to believe it's not real duck). Thanks for all the delicious food!

Love Chu Chai. Food is always amazing. Enjoyed myself however for the things I ordered I was full as I went alone, so I guess it's good to go with someone but I treated Myself. Definitely will recommend & go again.
