The owner was very welcoming & generous. She let me sample the different chocolates before buying them. The flavours are unique, & I can tell the quality is high from the way the chocolate snaps when it's broken. I will definitely come back to try the other flavours as well as the gelato.
Bonjour, C'est la première fois que je revenais chez Chocomax depuis la réouverture. Je vais m'ennuyer du décor un peu vintage qui donnait la touche artisanale de ce commerce exceptionnel sur Décarie. Je dois dire que j'ai aussi été surprise par l'augmentation des prix. Une boule pour 5,25, c'est un petit luxe. Heureusement, les saveurs sont toujours au rendez-vous & la portion est généreuse. Là où j'ai été déçue, c'est par le service. La serveuse, pas du tout souriante, portait des écouteurs. Ce petit détail a fait en sorte que j'avais l'impression qu'il y avait une certaine barrière, ou du moins que je n'étais pas une priorité. Disons que pour l'accueil, ce n'est vraiment pas top... Heureusement, la qualité des produits est encore là. Une rareté dans le quartier.
The gelatos are delicious & the owner was really kind & did not hesitate one instant to make us taste their various different flavors of gelatos. We also did enjoy their truffles & pistachio chocolates.
Don't miss this place otherwise you will regret. Hidden Gem for artisan chocolate & gelato ice cream in VSL area:) Such enjoy the atmosphere，lovely welcome & cleam！Family business so people who works here really nice & generous :D I would really recommend dark chocolate mix flavored kunefe with pistachios! Wonderful design & inspiration! For gelato, pls try Achata- which is the best! For no dairy try Blood orange sorbet. Owner bought orange from France, their pistachio which also import from Sicilia-Italy. Well personally enjoy black sesame, rum raisin, banana!! Both of the flavor were my favorites.
