The atmosphere & service were great but the chicha was a bit watered down & the 2nd menu item was not very good way too salty the sauce for a chicken dish, The chicken without the sauce would've been good but overall small portions for the price. I'll come back to try another menu item next time.

Plutôt décevant en termes de rapport qualité quantité prix. Musique inappropriée. Bon cocktail mais plutôt mort pour un samedi soir. Je suis allée au Tiradito après (nostalgique...)
Fantastic experience. We were seated at the bar with open kitchen entertaining us. We gave the waiter & chef carte blanche & the Pisco Sours, dishes & wine pairings kept flowing. A night to remember!
⭐⭐⭐☆☆ Notre expérience au ChiFa a été un mélange de points forts & de points faibles. Bien que les plats soient annoncés comme étant facilement partageables, nous avons trouvé que les portions ne correspondaient pas vraiment à cette description. Cela dit, les plats étaient bien exécutés & savoureux. Un moment plutôt amusant (& légèrement frustrant) s'est produit lorsque nous avons demandé des couteaux à viande, & la réponse a été : "C'est tout ce que vous avez". Ce qui était encore plus surprenant, c'est qu'ils semblaient mieux équipés en couverts pour les desserts que pour les plats principaux. L'ambiance est intéressante & moderne, mais je ne pense pas que ce soit un endroit idéal pour les familles avec de jeunes enfants, les personnes à mobilité réduite ou les aînés, car les stations de repas surélevées pourraient poser un défi. Malgré une équipe qui semblait bien s'entendre & être en nombre suffisant, le service était lent & parfois désorganisé, ce qui a laissé une impression mitigée. Cependant, rien à redire sur les cocktails : ils étaient parfaitement exécutés . Une adresse à essayer pour son ambiance & ses drinks, mais avec des attentes mesurées pour le reste.

Every time I visit Montreal I have to go to Chifa! We ordered scallops, steak & 4 kabobs with different meat choices. Unbelievable flavor, hands down the best steak you can get.
Delicious food, impecable service, better latin music. But…They could have an upgrade on the furniture, kind of old & dark, & availability for bigger groups ( no tables for more that 4-5 people) only 1 big table isolated from the restaurant.
C'est pas la première fois que nous venons & nous sommes toujours aussi surpris par la qualité de la cuisine & du service. Nous recommandons chaleureusement ce restaurant aux amis. La seule bémol la musique un peu forte. Hier j'ai fêté mes 70 ans en famille ce doit être une question d'âge. Bonne continuation.

The food was amazing! It's my third time over 3 years & the place still has its charm... The music selection could be on the chill side, but nonetheless, my & my friends had a great time!
Having eaten in Peru I can say these don't seem to be traditional Peruvian cuisine, the Jalea for example is usually served with plantains but came with seasoned French fries. the food is good but comes in small portions, you will need to eat around 2 or 3 main courses to be satisfied. The decor & ambiance though is incredible
Honestly, everything was great, the food was excellent, but the amount of time we had to wait kinda ruined the experience for me. We made a reservation for 8:15pm, we got there at 8:10pm & we didn't have a table. We had to sit by the entrance until a table "opened up" a little bit after 9pm. I rarely complain about things like this, but this kinda defeats the purpose of a reservation. A group of 4 that arrived after us was seated first, which we found a bit unfair. The food also took a while. The salmon ceviche came pretty quickly, I would say like 10-15 minutes after ordering. We ordered the hot plates a bit before being sat at our table, & the food arrived almost at 10pm. I must admit, I was cranky because I was very hungry so.. that didn't help too much & is probably making me biased. Overall, the food & ambiance was great. But I don't think I would go back due to how much we had to wait & the reservation organization. If you really don't mind the wait & are more patient than I am, you will definitely love the place :)

Chifa was great! The duck & lobster fries were absolutely delicious-highly recommended. The flavors were spot on, & the dishes were perfectly executed. A wonderful spot for a satisfying meal! -- Chifa était excellent! Le canard & les frites au homard étaient absolument délicieux-je les recommande vivement. Les saveurs étaient parfaites & les plats bien réalisés. Un endroit merveilleux pour un repas savoureux!
