Amazing Mother's Day experience at Chifa 💐
Beautiful atmosphere, incredible food, & outstanding service from start to finish. Every dish felt special & full of flavor. The perfect place to celebrate & create memories with family. Highly recommend.
Excellent food & such a lovely place! I absolutely loved the atmosphere , it feels fresh & welcoming. The food was delicious, with great small plates perfect for sharing. We ordered the empanaditas & they were amazing, definitely a must-try. We also had a couple of mocktails, & they were incredible. Everything was full of flavor. I would absolutely come back again!

Chifa is a fantastic spot in Montreal for a date night or a fun dinner with friends. The skewer combo was a great choice - bold, flavorful, & a nice way to try different meats. The deep-fried chicken was really good too, especially with the sauce. The beef was a little overcooked, but it still tasted great overall.
The absolute highlight of the meal was the corn cake dessert. It's a MUST-ORDER!!!. The warm corn cake with cold vanilla ice cream creates the perfect hot-&-cold contrast in every bite, & it was easily the standout dish of the night. The cocktails were excellent as well.
Prices are on the higher side, averaging about $95 per person after tax before tip, but the quality of the food, drinks, & atmosphere makes it worth it. A very memorable experience overall.
The service was great, the atmosphere was perfect. The but, I didn't feel the real peruvian chifa flavor on the dish that I took. I would put maybe, as part of the decoration on the plate a couple of wanton. The portions were small, was no taipa at all.
Chifa is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to not just in Montreal, but anywhere. The menu offers an impressive array of dishes & cocktails, each bursting with distinctive flavors that showcase remarkable culinary craftsmanship. The restaurant strikes the perfect balance with its effortlessly trendy atmosphere-sophisticated yet approachable, never trying too hard to impress.
What truly elevates the experience is the open kitchen concept, where you can watch work their magic on each dish.
I have been here three times so far & plan on coming back every time I am in town. 10/10 highly recommend.
Great interpretation of Peruvian staples, amazing flavors in appetizers, entrees & desserts. Cordial & helpful service. A bit dark for my elder eyes & likewise a bit loud for my aging ears but that seems ot be the standard everywhere
First time visiting Chifa, & it turned out to be a spectacular choice! My 9 friends & I found that the food & beverages were full of flavor & deliciousness! Jeremy headed up the service magnificently & all of his choices for which dishes best represented Chifa were spot on!
Most definitely would visit again next time in Montreal!!
The dining experience was outstanding. The menu, though limited in size, reflects a clear focus on quality over quantity - a philosophy I greatly admire. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared & beautifully presented. Portions are modest, encouraging the sharing of multiple plates, which allowed us to explore a range of flavors by ordering four different dishes for two people. The only aspect that could be improved is the music selection; a more varied playlist would enhance the overall atmosphere, as the continuous Cumbia can become somewhat monotonous. That said, this is merely a matter of personal preference.
