This restaurant was highly recommended by a good friend who frequently travels to Montreal & did not disappoint. The vibe & acoustics are both great. It was very chic & busy, but not overly loud. The service was excellent & we asked our 2 servers what their best dishes were (which they both enthusiastically recommended some different things) & we ordered what they suggested. We started off with 2 signature cocktails which both excellent. For dinner we had the Empanas, Ceviche, Beef with rice & fries & Chow Mein. We had the pudding with ice cream for dessert which was also interesting. All dishes were inventive, tasty & beautiful. The only minor complaint was the dishes were a little small & averaged around $25/dish so for two people you will want to order 4-5 dishes if you are hungry.
Always a pleasure visiting Chifa! I dine here every time I visit Montreal. The food is incredible, & the drinks are well crafted. The small plates allow us to try new things each time.
First time visiting Chifa, & it turned out to be a spectacular choice! My 9 friends & I found that the food & beverages were full of flavor & deliciousness! Jeremy headed up the service magnificently & all of his choices for which dishes best represented Chifa were spot on!
Most definitely would visit again next time in Montreal!!
J'adore la musique latina qui y passe. Très bonne ambiance. Service chaleureux & bouffe qui vous fait voyager entre la Chine & le Pérou. Je recommande les brochettes de pieuvre, délicieuses. Tout comme leur ceviche de tilapia.

The dining experience was outstanding. The menu, though limited in size, reflects a clear focus on quality over quantity - a philosophy I greatly admire. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared & beautifully presented. Portions are modest, encouraging the sharing of multiple plates, which allowed us to explore a range of flavors by ordering four different dishes for two people. The only aspect that could be improved is the music selection; a more varied playlist would enhance the overall atmosphere, as the continuous Cumbia can become somewhat monotonous. That said, this is merely a matter of personal preference.
Super chill place honestly with a nice ambiance. The service & staff were amazing, loved the service 😌.
The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because the food was a little too salty for me & all the people on lmy table said the same.
Love their little decor & food selection too. We tasted quite a few dishes that we split to try as many as we could & all were very delicious minus the saltiness.
I definitely recommend this restaurant if you're like a small group, or on a date, you won't be disappointed.
On nous a servi le plat chaud avant l'entrée froide. On tarde à desservir, les assiettes s'entassent.
On a pris soin de nous faire déguster le vin au verre avant de le servir, finalement tous les plats étaient savoureux.
Visitors for the first time with a group of 10 & we ordered quite a few dishes. Everything was prepared perfectly, very fresh & our server was on point. This spot has a cool vibe & great staff. We will be coming back!
