La cuisine est très bonne aussi même si ce n'est pas typiquement péruvien. Ça respecte quand ce qui est annoncé comme étant de la nourriture fusion.
Service, taste, ambience.. this place has it all. Fav restaurant in Mtl, been going since around 2020. Editing my opinion, sorry guys but you made a mistake by removing the demi duck & the pato caliente ceviche!!!
The food is well season. Tastes good, but for that price, you can for sure find better places. The angus beef plate is a shame - 5 small pieces of beef. The chicken was warm, seems like they just re heated. Service & cocktails were very good. Will I ever come back? NO. The place is OVERPRICED!
Everything was great but overpriced. First & last time there unfortunately.
Excellent service & atmosphere. Plats frais & intéressants. Mélange de saveurs uniques, jy retournerai
Another great night at Chifa. We love coming here for the best cocktails & a delicious bite before a show! Had the wan tan soup (beautiful presentation & surprisingly scrumptious) the BEST chaufa & the lomo saltado. No dessert this time but we'll be back!! Always a win 👌🏼
A neon lit lama welcomes you into this cozy South American fusion restaurant. The chef looked out over the flaming stove to welcome us in. The atmosphere is cozy, the Latin music is smooth & a variety of interesting people sit at the counter or in booths along the back windows. Very friendly & helpful staff. The food seems be a mixture of Peruvian, Asian & other inspiration. Nice variety of share dishes, reasonable drinks menu. Nice place for a low key dinner with friends.
The waiter who served us was very flexible & accommodated us. We returned back home with a great souvenir. I can't wait & return!!
Chifa is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to not just in Montreal, but anywhere. The menu offers an impressive array of dishes & cocktails, each bursting with distinctive flavors that showcase remarkable culinary craftsmanship. The restaurant strikes the perfect balance with its effortlessly trendy atmosphere-sophisticated yet approachable, never trying too hard to impress.
What truly elevates the experience is the open kitchen concept, where you can watch work their magic on each dish.
I have been here three times so far & plan on coming back every time I am in town. 10/10 highly recommend.
Great interpretation of Peruvian staples, amazing flavors in appetizers, entrees & desserts. Cordial & helpful service. A bit dark for my elder eyes & likewise a bit loud for my aging ears but that seems ot be the standard everywhere
Superbe expérience
Serveur courtois & pro !
Nourriture 10/10
Tipical Chifa Peruvian Chinese restaurant in downtown Montreal, good entries, nice food & drinks, have lady sussan at the big tables amazing to share.
This restaurant was highly recommended by a good friend who frequently travels to Montreal & did not disappoint. The vibe & acoustics are both great. It was very chic & busy, but not overly loud. The service was excellent & we asked our 2 servers what their best dishes were (which they both enthusiastically recommended some different things) & we ordered what they suggested. We started off with 2 signature cocktails which both excellent. For dinner we had the Empanas, Ceviche, Beef with rice & fries & Chow Mein. We had the pudding with ice cream for dessert which was also interesting. All dishes were inventive, tasty & beautiful. The only minor complaint was the dishes were a little small & averaged around $25/dish so for two people you will want to order 4-5 dishes if you are hungry.
