La nourriture était excellente mais nous avons attendu longuement à toutes les étapes de notre repas: avant de commander nos drinks, avant de commander nos plats, avant de recevoir nos drinks & nos plats, etc. Le staff, plutôt gentil était débordé. Oui, c'était soir de spectacle mais j'imagine que ça fait partie de leur réalité étant donné que le resto est situé à quelques pas du Centre Bell!

We had a set menu for a party & honestly I really did not like the food. I had calamari, ravioli & a lemon dessert. The calamari was covered in cabbage & (lots of) sweet sauce. The cabbage & sauce tasted good on their own on the side as a good salad but with the calamari was too sweet. The ravioli pasta & filling were somehow the same texture & the brown sauce didn't really fit.

The staff were some of the best I've seen, extremely professional, attentive, kind & funny. I personally felt like the staff deserved better food to serve. The drinks were nice.

The bathroom was difficult to get to by several flights of stairs. The staff was extremely nice & attempted to accomodate someone disabled in the party by offering to ask their boss for a key to access an elevator but it seemed like a hassle & they ended up using the stairs. Could also be tough for those in heels.

Tout étais merveilleux! We were a group 6 adults & 3 children. Gabrielle was wonderful! Our drink waiter David was great & Kimia was so sweet. They treated us beautifully & so patient. Everything was great for our family get together! Thank you!!

Chez Lionel hits high marks for ambiance & central accessibility, making it an inviting spot for drinks & dinner, even if a couple of service policies fall slightly short.

?Location & Atmosphere: Fantastic central setting on Boulevard René-Lévesque with a warm, energetic vibe that sets the tone for a great evening out.
?Drinks Program: The cocktail menu is creative & exceptionally well-crafted. However, the beer selection is quite niche; if you are looking for standard, widely known domestic staples (like Molson, Budweiser, or Coors), you will not find them here.
?Food & Modifications: The meals are well-prepared, but the kitchen policy on substitutions is unusually rigid. Swapping a standard side (for instance, trading potatoes for fries) is not permitted as a simple substitution-you will have to omit the side & purchase the alternative separately.
?A solid four-star experience overall, backed by great energy & fantastic mixed drinks, held back just slightly by inflexible side substitutions & a narrow beer lineup.

Réservation à 6pm pour menu spectacle qui commençait à 19h30. & il a pris 15 min pour recevoir 2 drinks & 40 minutes pour avoir la bouteille de vin & avons été servi à 19:20!!!!! On a payé avant de manger car on avait déjà assez attendu & on voulait prendre de l'avance! On a mangé en 15 min & le show était commencé! Nous avons été très déçues & ne reviendraient pour une soirée & spectacle après car le service - pas suivi. Le restaurant était plein à craquer mais si tu offres un menu spectacle il faut savoir livrer la marchandise!

Excellente expérience Chez Lionel de Montréal !

Nous sommes allés là avant notre partie des Canadiens. Un gros merci à Frank, le mixologue, à qui j'ai donné carte blanche & qui nous a fait passer un bon moment. Il est de bonne compagnie & très créatif dans ses drinks où il mets ça touche personnelle.

Shout out Frank, you're the man !

Le CH s'est fait démolir 6 à 1, mais au moins notre souper Chez Lionel fût un franc succès !
