Great food & service. Nice sized portions too. **After coming here (& recommending & introducing friends to this place,I'm going to have to change my review. Maybe my first couple of visits were one offs. My final visit was not good. After waiting longer than usual for the waitress (it wasn't that busy this time) & having to hunt her down for the bill she decided to attempt to school me on tipping & percentages. May I suggest learning some basic math before trying to shame me into tipping more? She tried to tell me my tip was less than 15% when it was in fact much more. Also a tip is a courtesy & not a given. What an ugly way to start my day. I have moved onto the other breakfast place a couple blocks away.View more
Our favourite breakfast place in Verdun! Great food, lovely staff, & a great family friendly vibe too :D.View more
A local eatery, mainly breakfast. We went for lobster roll as it's lobster fest, took a long time to be served. Kinda disappointed cuzz the lobster roll bit dry, as well the lobster Benedict. Doesn't feel very fresh. Price is super reasonable, May go back to try the breakfast.View more
The best place in Montreal for breakfast or brunch. Delicious, fresh, but not expensive. It always makes me want to go back.View more
Best breakfast restaurant in town Rapid service, option to have it take out. There can be a line up near lunchtime as it's quite populaView more
We haven't been here for ages but we thoroughly enjoyed this visit. There was just a short queue so we were seated straight away. The decor is a bit gloomy (mostly brown) but the photos of the Madeleine Islands help cheer things up. Notices on tables asking people to speak softly if using phones were welcome but even so it's a family restaurant so it was somewhat noisy. Coffee arrived promptly together with menus, & then our order was taken. We ordered a Benedictine & another cooked breakfast. The plates arrived quickly looking really good, & the food tasted excellent. The portions cover the plate, with plenty of fruit. Coffees were topped up several times during the meal. So, we really enjoyed this visit & we'll be back!View more
My favorite place in Montreal. Good breakfast food, good prices, welcoming staff!View more
This place is popular with locals & fills up quickly, so be sure to arrive early (9h30-10h00 on the weekends). There is a good amount of street parking in the area.
The food was good, with a standard variety of breakfast & brunch staples. The prices are reasonable, & the service is friendly & attentive. Outdoor seating was roomy & the street traffic wasn't so heavy as to disturb our meal.
I like this place enough to return again, & I can see why local residents flock to it on the weekend.View more
