At first I thought the price was a little high, but once I've received the food I realize that the serving are huge…. It taste good again it's fast food. So wouldn't eat that everyday but from time to time it's great. Service is friendly & fast.

This was my first visit to Chez Gérard, & I was genuinely impressed. From the moment I walked in, I noticed how clean, organized, & well-managed the restaurant is. The staff were friendly, professional, & attentive, always ready to greet customers, answer questions, & provide the best possible service. It was refreshing to see employees focused on their customers instead of being distracted by their phones.

The food exceeded my expectations. The steamed hot dogs were fresh, delicious, & perfectly prepared. The donuts were incredibly tasty, & it's easy to see why kids love them. The coffee was also fresh & complemented the meal perfectly.

This is exactly what you expect from a true local landmark. Unlike some fast-food chains where quality & customer service have declined, Chez Gérard continues to deliver an outstanding experience with fresh food, efficient service, & a welcoming atmosphere.

I also had the opportunity to interact with the owner, which added a wonderful personal touch to the entire experience. It's clear that the owner truly cares about both the customers & the quality of the business.

For a first visit, Chez Gérard definitely exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for excellent steamed hot dogs, fresh donuts, great coffee, friendly service, & a spotless restaurant, I highly recommend stopping by. I'll definitely be back!

Fast & friendly service but very average poutine with very small cheese curds. Difficult to find a clean table or bench to eat, 10 of them were dirty before a someone came to wipe one for us.

This little gem is amazing! A great find while in Laval! So many options for kids & families & the quality is high! I live the staff here! They go above & beyond to treat you well! Friendly! Smiley! Sweet! Clean place too! I highly recommend

I eat at fast food restaurants about 3 times a month. Lately, I've noticed a lack of quality at most of the big fast food chains with higher prices. The other day a Simple Dave trio at Wendy's cost me $19.55 & was mediocre. Let's support our local restaurants like Chez Gerard-the all dressed burger was fantastic-loaded with fresh ingredients with more fries than I could finish! Even better the fries are made from 1 ingredient-potatoes! Not 11 ingredients like some chains. My meal cost me $15.86 including a 15% tip!

I went there to introduce the poutine to my friend who came from California. Such a mistake! The poutine was mediocre at best & the burger sandwich was overcooked & dry.
I didn't feel anything special about their food. They were Obviously too much overrated.

The food is great! Can't complain on that. But I ordered a trio burger & replaced the fries with a poutine. Just like any other place they charge you extra for the cheese & the sauce. So far, still fair. But what I was surprised about is to get less fries. So I had to pay extra to get fries removed. & by doing so obviously they use less cheese & sauce. I've asked the owner about the difference, the only answer I got was that I got the poutine, so that's what I'm getting. In the pictures I uploaded you can see the difference in fries size.
