Platter that comes with a lot of side dishes ! We alwasy end up getting toooo full with all the sides before the kebabs even arrive coz they are all soo good & fresh ! Always get the leftover which makes perfect lunch wraps the next day! A must try if you are around !View more

From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warmth, respect, & genuine hospitality. The staff are some of the most welcoming & friendly people you'll ever meet-they truly make you feel at home specially the owner of restaurant who welcoming everyone & take care of all details .
The restaurant itself is beautiful on the inside. The decoration is tasteful , the setting is well thought-out, & the tables & chairs are comfortable, clean, & stylish. It creates a perfect atmosphere whether you're dining alone, with family, or hosting guests.
& the food? Absolutely outstanding. This is, without question, some of the best Arabic food in Canada. Everything is halal, professionally prepared, & full of authentic Iraqi flavor-especially their barbecue dishes with other international dishes . The presentation is stunning, & whether you're dining in or ordering takeaway, the quality is always top-notch. It's also perfect for home gatherings or celebrations.
& what really sets Chateau Kebab West Island apart is how affordable everything is. The prices are incredibly reasonable considering the quality of the food, the presentation, & the exceptional service.

Whether you are wanting to dine alone, with a small/large family, friends or even want to host a large event, the owner is very accommodating & friendly staff.
The decor is really warm & inviting which is very different from fast food places & more relaxing.
Not to mention, the food is tasty, very well made, high quality, delicous, & great service. Kebabs are not dry & great flavor, & you won't regret trying their menu.

We recently hosted our son's wedding reception at Chateau Kebab, & it was nothing short of exceptional! From start to finish, the experience was excellent, & we couldn't have asked for a better venue to celebrate such a special day. The restaurant accommodated our party of 50 with ease, providing a cozy yet elegant atmosphere that felt intimate & inviting. The staff were very helpful for accomadating our needs & served food on our schedule. The food - which consisted of chicken, beef, & lamb skewers with rice was delicious! Guests were speaking highly about the juicy lamb skewers, tender chicken kebabs, & the lentil soup. Everything was beautifully presented, from the appetizers to the baklava dessert. Went with a Persian friend of mine (I don't speak Farsi) & the waiter completely ignored me the whole time & was talking with my friend in Farsi. He spoke English & French to other multicultural groups, so I wouldn't say he had a language barrier. Food was good even though they didn't have the shish kebab that we wanted. I found the waiter unprofessional & rude & racist against other cultures. What a shame. Have never had such bad customer service in my life. He worked Thursday Dec 26th at 13:00. I would never go back to that place. I also paid the bill at the end & he gave the receipt to my friend, even though it was me who had paid. He wouldn't address me at all as a customer & would talk to my friend who was translating to me....View more

Hi, we've ordered from Chateau Kebab for a corporate lunch two times now (one of the times was for over 65people) & everything was simply perfect! Food got delivered ahead of schedule, portions are VERY generous, food quality is fantastic, options were available for our folks with dietary restrictions! Second time, we unfortunately gave them a very last minute heads up & they still managed to accept our order & deliver on time!! So accommodating! The food tastes great & is reasonably priced, making it a fantastic choice for anyone who loves quality kebabs. We go frequently to Chateau Kebab for lunch or dinner the food is always consistent & delicious, service amazing & the owner always so welcoming . But we had the opportunity to have IFTAR of Ramadan last night, April 3 & we were worried that it might be a bit chaotic BUT Everything was SUPER organized, the tables were already preset with dates, water, Jellab, hummus & salad - the soup was served 2 to 3 minutes prior to Azan & the main dish which was served family size mixed Kebab & rice & potatoes was to die for - i wish i could have eaten more but when your fasting it is a bit hard :) them came the tea & the desserts that were delicious . THe service was so fast the crews at the restaurant are so nice & patient even though it was a full house & willing to assist with any request we had . This is the place to go for a casual or for a group of guests that you want to impress. thank you Chateau Kebab !!View more

This is an objective (deep dive) review of chateau kebab West Island
Let's talk about food variations:
Since this is an Iraqi / Iranian / Mediterranean speciality restaurant, you will find the appetizer menu full of mixed dishes that taste very good from that region. Some of which taste very close to home made dishes. I pretty much tasted all of them.
In terms of the grills menu , it has literally Iraqi & Iranian Kebabs as well as spicy ones. Since taste is subjective , I won't get into how much I love it ;)
Family meal variations:
They have about 6 family specials.
Traditional food:
They have traditional dishes (dish of the day) on the menu that includes Zereshk polo , baghali polo & another that are Iranian , they also have 3 more dishes such as Quazi that is an Iraqi style dish with a lamb shank.
They also have vegetarian,Vegan (dairy free) & Gluten Free dishes ;)
Parking spots:
The parking is not too small nor big so it's good to arrive early if you are looking for a Dine-in experience.
Prices:
Make sure to check out the right menu when you are ordering food. Online prices for take out / pickup & delivery are different than those for Dine-In. Also they have lunch specials menu from 11 am to 3 pm which is good for many who are working or on the run. Just check their website for the right menu.
Service:
If you are looking for a top notch service like 5 star hotel. You can maybe call in a head of time to request such service however service is a subjective matter where some people are high maintenance & other are low maintenance. During rush/ busy times, the service can slow down than usual times. Staff will be trying their best to get the delicious food to your table while the chief is preparing these home made style meals. Also service depends on priority so if you arrive at a time when there are 10 people in-front of you then you will have to wait until your food is ready.
Special requests:
I am amazed how the owner is flexible to honor special requests. I did have special events that were held in the restaurant & out side the restaurant that were successful 100% (everyone was very happy with the food & service). The trick is to arrange these events with the owner.
Reservation:
The reservation system is open online to reserve however you need to wait for the restaurant confirmation to guarantee your reservation. If you have special requests, they should be mentioned in the reservation form. If your guests are late, the restaurant service will fall back to first come first served meaning that the restaurant will serve who is available in the restaurant until your guests arrive.
Summer time:
They have a nice outside area (terrasse). They also have a prayer area.
