This restaurant is an absolute gem. I had a great experience. The food was delicious & full of authentic Iraqi flavors. The kebabs, rice, & bread were all fresh & tasty. The restaurant was clean & cozy, & the staff were very friendly & welcoming. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy real Iraqi food.View more
Was very excited to try this restaurant as the food looked very good, when we arrived there no one came to take our order for around 10 min, I had to go ask them to take our order.
After asking to order, the lady serving us seemed to be annoyed taking our order.
We did not get water till around 20-25 min after arriving.
The food itself was pretty good I had the chicken & beef kebab with rice & batata harra & my friend had the chicken shawarma with fries.
When the food arrived I had just gotten rice not rice & potatoes like I asked but they brought potatoes afterwards.
Other tables had gotten bread with their food, we did not.
In the end the service was very bad the lady was impolite & would not respond after a simple please & thank you.
The food is worth it but hopefully the service isn't like that all the time.View more
This is hands down the best kebab spot in Montreal when it comes to price, quality, quantity, & taste. I got the mixed chicken & beef Persian kebab, served with grilled tomatoes, marinated onions, bread, & pickles on the side. The total came to just $45 after tax, & it can easily feed up to five people! For that price, you'd end up with smaller portions of unhealthy, factory-made food from McDonald's. Go for this instead-it's not only delicious but also a healthier choice.View more
The best kebab in Montreal! Quality of food, the vibe & the service. We had kebab & soup & the bread omg! The bread baked in a traditional oven heaven!
The owner is so welcoming & offered 2 fresh teas for me & husband & we had a chit chat, exchanging about our experience. Would definitely recommend & can't wait to go back. The meat is top notch quality! Thank you Mhemed! ♥?🌺View more

Food is ok. But service is horrible. Took so long to get one simple order in a non busy time. Employee was just talking at the back. Didn't even give me bread for my order that was suppose to be included.View more

We got the Kafta platter & it was such a big portion that we couldn't finish it even though we were a party of 5. The kebabs together with the soups, rice & bread was so delicious. The meat was nice, moist & well seasoned. Service was also amazing, our server Suzanne kept checking on us & made sure that everything was good. Great place for affordable eats & good service too!View more
Had a late night family supper here (dine-in). Kebab plates with beef, chicken saffron & pork. A tabouleh plate with wr bread, oh so good.View more
Great spots for kebabs in Montreal. The kafta kebabs are cooked to perfection & not too dry. The soup, pita bread & hummus & other sides are great as well. Susan was our server & she was very courteous & prompt with her service. Would highly recommend.View more
Pita bread, rice were hard & not fresh. Beef shawarma was not fully cooked.View more
Overpriced for what i ate. Hummus & vine leaves were horrible. > The hummus you buy at the supermarket that's been sitting on the shelf for a year is FAR superior. This is how bad it is. Only good thing about the hummus is that they are generous with the bread provided. > The vine leaves tasteless/poor & are tiny. Yoghurt was good. soup was good.View more
We love this place so much that we spent every single day of our weekend at this restaurant. We enjoy Iranian food, & find this has good value, we tried their plates with kebab & rice as well as their roll ups with the kebabs, both taste good. We were there on easter weekend so had to wait a little for our to go order (which got mixed up as a dine in order) but dining in has always been good, their salads are delish, bread is not fresh usually which is unusually for the Iranian restos... but the kebab & rice are great. We even asked them to put zereshk on bagali & they obliged. Shoroush is so friendly & so welcoming, we love coming here & eating upstairs... will be back! We had the chicken kubideh & chicken joojeh , did not try the beef dishes.View more
I was served piping hot flat bread baked on the spot in a clay oven (see video). Delicious food, friendly service, big bright windows, great downtown location.View more
Service is slow. Bread was like plastic & the shawarma was extremely dry.View more
