The place is very cool & beautiful but the ice cream was disappointing & definitely not home made .
Tasted very industrialView more
Great service & great ice cream. This was a nice place to duck into while trying to beat the Montreal heat.View more
Purr-fect! If you're a cat lover, you MUST check this place out! I walked in without knowing about the shop, & was helped right away. I loved all the cat merchandise & knick knacks, & all the ice cream flavors looked delicious. I got brownie chocolate & cookie dough. Yum! Would absolutely come again if I lived here. 🐱🍨View more
The best Ice cream & cookies in town.
Penny is greatView more
Cute place, with tons of cat themed items such as pins, cups, shirts & others. The ice cream was alright but the decor & location made the experience better.View more
Love this dessert place, cute & cozy in the heart of the old port, it's often open late & offers a nice variety of options. Love their ice cream cones & crepes! The service is also always nice & efficient!View more
I can't say enough good things about this gem of an ice cream shop! This is absolutely not a tourist trap-it's a small, artisanal spot run with genuine passion & talent where locals flock to for a nice treat during the day or for an after dinner stroll. The owner is a trained pastry chef who studied under none other than Christian Faure, & it shows in everything she makes, from the beautifully crafted ice creams to the delicate cookies & refreshing granitas.
The prices are in line with the rest of Montreal which comes as a good surprise, especially when you're getting real, quality ingredients & handcrafted desserts by a trained pastry chef.
The shop has a warm, welcoming atmosphere, & you can tell a lot of care goes into everything. Local or tourist, if you appreciate quality & love desserts made with heart & talent, this place is a must-visit!View more
This place is adorable & a must stop for any cat enthusiasts. There is lots of selection of coffees & lattes as well as hard & soft serve ice cream . Not to mention the adorable cat products so sweetView more
So quaint, ice cream is really good & customer service is topnotch! A place worth visiting especially if you are a cat loveView more
The ice cream is delicious & the shop decoration is lovely.View more
Lovely place! Cozy atmosphere with lots of interesting cat miscellaneous. I've recently moved to Montreal & was craving sweet crepes when I came across Chat-Colate. Of course, I ordered the "Fiesta" crepe (it seems to be the most ordered sweet there) that comes with banana, strawberry, Nutella, whipping cream & vanilla ice cream. I must say: it was delicious! They also have ice cream, & coffee for those looking for a lighter after-meal dessert/drink. Just be aware it's a small shop, so I assume it must be a bit difficult to find a place to sit during busy hours. Anyway, I highly recommend it!View more
Best crépe that I ate in Montreal, it was delicious. I truly recommend to visit. My husband loved the ice creamView more
CHAT-COLATE is a really nice place to enjoy a coffee or ice cream. The design of the shop is unique, & they offer a lot of interesting products. Unfortunately, during our visit, we were less lucky as something happened, & water was dripping from the ceiling near the tables, making it difficult to sit & enjoy our coffee. However, we still appreciated the atmosphere & hope they've fixed the issue.View more
Maybe standard ice cream 🍦 but the vibes & the setting is unique...View more
We took 2 sorbets. One had small pieces of water ice cubes (meaning a lot of water in prep) & the other sorbet was way too creamy to be natural. 23$ for 2 ice creams (one 2-balls cornet 2$ supp for waffle cornet) & 1 small 2 balls cup. Ridiculously expensiveView more
Very cute cafe in Old Montreal serving ice cream, coffee & other good treats.View more
Sorry, I don't know how they received the reviews I checked, but the place had no AC, the freezer didn't work & the ice cream was not great.View more
The quality of the ice cream is si goood. I love itView more
