Their two-paratha special, especially the Aloo Paratha & Chicken Paratha, is absolutely mouthwatering - authentic, flavorful, & clearly made with care.
The ambiance is warm & inviting. The restaurant may be small, but it's impeccably clean, & the service is impressively quick.
It's family-owned, & the owner is genuinely welcoming, adding to the overall charm of the experience.
We tried 1 allo paratha, 1 chicken paratha, lacha paratha, chai & anda pyaz & paid over 40$ which is too much. No doubt it was quite good but overpriced for just 3 parathas, one anda & a chai.

We went as a huge group of 15 people & the staff was very accommodative. They made some customers move to accomodate us. Food was exellent & well cooked. Portions size is good & pricing is appropriate. Chai (tea) is served in unique earthen pots called (kullad). Will be going there soon enough for another round of Halva Paratha & Chole deal.
Forgot to take the picture of thee biryani cuz it was so yummy but this fresh shakr paratha stole my heart even though I was full I wanted to eat more. It was that delicious!!
I felt ripped off. We paid almost $40 just for two chai, two aalo paratha & two lacha paratha with anda piyaz (eggs) while ate chicken meal combos for way less price at other restaurants in the neighbourhood.
I visited this place due to hype on social media but will go elsewhere for breakfast on my next visit.
We are here for a visit & came to have our breakfast. Had halwa puri, chai. Aaloo paratha & Kashmiri chai. I would say the food & service was superb & would highly recommend the food. The owner was very nice & friendly. Highly recommended. 10/10
Paratha was good but can have a lil bit of salt in it. Chai on other hand was amazing. Just need to provide complimentaries already with the dish like Pickle. Other wise it was amazing. Would definitely go again.

I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Chai Paratha for some authentic chai & paratha-& wow, my taste buds were in heaven! The chai was brewed to perfection-rich, aromatic, & so comforting. & the paratha? Flaky, buttery, & absolutely delicious. It genuinely felt like a warm taste of home. The vibe was cozy & welcoming, & the staff were friendly & attentive. If you're craving real Pakistani flavors made with love, Chai Paratha is the place to be. I'll definitely be back!
What an amazing small nook. The food is absolutely amazing, it's fresh & served piping hot. Loved the chai & the whole atmosphere. Have to try the aloo(potato) paratha it is absolutely divine.
There was no butter with paratha ( parathas with no butter - are you for real)??
The paratha could be better (had too much sukha dhaniya & the chicken paratha was worse) & the self service just put off my mood !! While you are eating, u have to get up & get food!!
There was no sugar on my table for tea & yet again I had to get up to ask sugar!!
When asked for butter , she said we dont have butter!!! I mean I was shocked!! & then i asked for pickle, thats when she gave pickle to me!!
I mean give accompaniments with paratha only!!!
Everything we had to ask for!!
Its too pricey for the food & service!!!
I wouldnt recommend this place for indian people definitely!!!
Go to Punjab canteen instead :)
A small place in downtown Montreal that serves some of the best desi parathas. Their chai is also very tasty & feels like the tea you'd get at home. Highly recommend coming here for some parathas & chai (Ginger Chai)

If you're a fan of delicious chai & crispy, flavorful parathas, Chai Paratha is the perfect place for you! The chai is rich & aromatic, & the parathas are absolutely mouthwatering-crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, & packed with amazing flavors.
What makes this place even more special is the warmth & hospitality of Aunty & Uncle. They are incredibly kind & welcoming, making you feel right at home with their friendly service & cheerful nature.
The overall experience at Chai Paratha is just fantastic-great food, cozy ambiance, & exceptional service. Whether you're here for a quick snack or a relaxing chai break, this place never disappoints. Highly recommended!
A beautiful small cozy home like restaurant in the heart of Montreal.
The owner's were managing everything perfectly. Very nice decent & down to earth with amazing courteous service.
Food was amazing, cheese , potato & chicken paratha along with karak chai was to die for. Not too spicy & not very mild very nice & cooked to perfection with love & care.
5 stars for food, cleanliness, service & love.

This is our go to place for brunch, love their Parathas with Anda Pyaaz, chicken tikka roll & of course their Kashmiri & Karak chai. Staff is lovely & friendly.

If you are in the Montreal area looking for authentic homemade parathas & desi food-this is the spot to be at. They also serve excellent chai in a clay cup. Highly recommended!!!
The owner was also very nice! We had a great conversation with him about his restaurant. Will 100% return back!
Found this spot while we were looking around for some parathas & chai & ended up staying for channa, poor halwa & chicken tikka paratha. Everything was delicious & the staff is super kind & sincere!
I had been going there regularly every weekend to enjoy their traditional breakfast. It is a mom & pop type store that offers warmth & ambience. The choice of music is good & the interior exudes a very relaxed & laid back vibe. Coming to the most important their orders are fresh & their kitchen is visible while ordering. The entire procedure is quite transparent. The taste is lovely, although I mostly go there for the breakfast but their parathas are crispy, fresh & rich in stuffing. Totally recommended, their owner Mr. Bajwa makes a point of making interactions & cultivating relationships with their clientele.
