Loved their mango lassi, I almost emptied their fridge from this drink. It was perfect. Their samosas were delicious too, but what really impressed me is how exquisite the smell was. Maybe it was the sauce that came with it, it really added to the whole experience. Even the chicken rice was very fragrant & just as delicious. A friend recommended this place & I'm very happy to have discovered it. They even gave us a sweet flat bread at the end of our meal, on the house.

There was no butter with paratha ( parathas with no butter - are you for real)??
The paratha could be better (had too much sukha dhaniya & the chicken paratha was worse) & the self service just put off my mood !! While you are eating, u have to get up & get food!!
There was no sugar on my table for tea & yet again I had to get up to ask sugar!!
When asked for butter , she said we dont have butter!!! I mean I was shocked!! & then i asked for pickle, thats when she gave pickle to me!!
I mean give accompaniments with paratha only!!!
Everything we had to ask for!!
Its too pricey for the food & service!!!
I wouldnt recommend this place for indian people definitely!!!
Go to Punjab canteen instead :)

A beautiful small cozy home like restaurant in the heart of Montreal.
The owner's were managing everything perfectly. Very nice decent & down to earth with amazing courteous service.
Food was amazing, cheese , potato & chicken paratha along with karak chai was to die for. Not too spicy & not very mild very nice & cooked to perfection with love & care.
5 stars for food, cleanliness, service & love.
Fully recommending for authentic Pakistani cuisine.

Found this spot while we were looking around for some parathas & chai & ended up staying for channa, poor halwa & chicken tikka paratha. Everything was delicious & the staff is super kind & sincere!

My boyfriend & I were visiting from Boston, MA & wanted to try some Pakistani food in Montreal. Boston food sucks & finding good Pakistani food is difficult. But Chai Paratha gave us the Pakistani "street food" experience we were wanting. We got the Aloo Paratha, Chicken Tikka Paratha Roll, & Samosas with Kashmiri Chai. All amazing & flavorful. Next time I am in Montreal, I am definitely coming back so I can try more of their menu. The staff was very friendly & accommodating. Loved the atmosphere & decor. I would highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️

Chai Paratha Restaurant is a fantastic spot for authentic flavors & a cozy atmosphere! We tried the samosa aloo-stuffed paratha, chicken kebab roll, & everything was delicious. The parathas were perfectly spiced, & the kebab was juicy & flavorful. The staff was welcoming & attentive, making the experience even better. Highly recommended for anyone craving traditional desi food with great service!

I drove from the south shore after I saw this place on tik tok & I was so excited from what I saw. I got there 10 minutes before they opened & the girl working whom I think is the owner's daughter because it looked like it was 100% family owned & run business. She was kind & welcoming while she was opening the lights & ovens & took my order. Then the rest of the family Dad & mom & son showed up & started helping in the kitchen & I got my super order. I was very surprised how good the Kashmiri chai was while I waited for my order & then when I got my food I took it back home & fell in love with it. It was just like my mom's home cooking & brought me back such great memories. The only downside was that the parathas were lacking stuffing & it would have been nice to have larger portions of the Chana & egg pyaz & the chicken roll could & should have had more ingredients & meat for the price. Also could have given more condiments like green chutney with the small yogurt. All in all I like this place very much & will definitely be back & I recommend this place to everyone

**Amazing Pakistani Breakfast Spot in Montreal** If you're looking for the most delicious Pakistani breakfast, I highly recommend this place. The food is absolutely outstanding-flavorful, fresh, & authentic. Their entire menu is a treat, but the Halal chicken tikka roll is hands down the best, taking me right back to the food street of Lahore with every bite. The ambiance is warm & inviting, but what truly sets this place apart is the staff. They are super nice, kind, & make you feel incredibly welcome from the moment you step in. If you're in Montreal & craving authentic Pakistani flavors, this place is a must-visit!

Been twice now & hope to go again & again! Authentic flavours, crispy, layered parathas, homemade taste & excellent chai (which is extremely hard to find in Montréal!). Small dine in area but tastefully decorated. Have tried their chicken paratha, anda paratha, aaloo paratha, chicken roll & shakkar paratha. Definitely recommended!

Was driving by, saw the sign, & couldn't resist! Most flavoursome chicken I've had in Montreal. The laccha paratha & the ginger chai reminded me of back home. Lovely family business that has soul. 🥰

These aloo & gobi parathas are sick. Just like my mom makes. When I need a hit, I go here. Wow. The cook on them is great, they're have a mix of crispy & chewy texture, & they're generously stuffed. Really hits the spot. I echo what others say in terms of authenticity of what they're serving. Also ordered a butter chicken but the portion was very stingy.

It is one of the best Desi (Pakistani) joints in Canada & the US as we were visiting from the US, & have been yearning for some good halal Desi food. To our surprise the food was extremely delicious & I don't just praise food unless it smell, looks & the taste of every bite is amazing. These are my recommendations: 1. Laccha pratha with Chicken Tikka was simply deleciouso! 2. Chicken Chapli kebab was different & had a hole in the middle but still delicious even without Paratha. 3. Aloo Paratha was the best & was rich with the spicy mix potatoes filling in the nicely done paratha. 4. Chicken Paratha wasn't too bad the yogurt raita went well with it but honestly the Imli chutney ( house blend ) was the bomb it really got my full 100 marks. The ambiense was created by our DJ Salman ( the host ) with the best of Pakistan's best music from Coke Studio & some contemporary Indian Punjabi Songs. The decor was pretty eye-catching & nicely laid out for you to have genuinely unique Pakistani experience. Well done Team " Chai Paratha"
