Ceramic Café-Studio is a unique franchise! A ceramic painting studio, a coffee shop and a boutique all in one place. Since opening in 1997, people gather at Ceramic Café-Studio. Whether you are a beginner or an accomplished painter, alone, with family or friends, you can come and paint original ceramics, which are both personalized and practical. The famous paninis are well known, the smoothies are delicious and the coffee is comforting. The Ceramic Café on St-Denis Street in Montreal is the first Ceramic Café that opened in Quebec in 1997. Since 2007 they are located at 4338 St-Denis Street, corner of Marie-Anne near the Mont-Royal metro. Previously they were located on the other side of the street at 4201 St-Denis Street, corner of Rachel Street. The owners and creators of the concept, Paola Cacopardo and Gilles Geoffrion, are franchisors of four Ceramic Cafés. Ceramic Café Montreal has two floors and can accommodate up to 100 people. The team of Ceramic Café Montreal goes as far as Gatineau to offer ceramic painting activities to groups such as schools, day care, summer camps, office parties, showers, children's parties and other occasions. via LibroTrès bon concept, mais le service n'était pas top. C'était la première fois qu'on venait & personne ne nous a vraiment expliqué ce qu'il fallait faire, c'était très vague. On a oublié de nous donner notre commande deux fois & ça a pris plus d'une vingtaine de minute pour que finalement la serveuse se libère alors qu'on attendait assis a fixer le vide sans savoir ce qu'on pouvait toucher ou utiliser pour la peinture par contre leur chocolat chaud suprême est vraiment bon & on s'est bien amusé malgré le manque de professionnalisme de la part du personnel qui malgré sa gentillesse n'a pas su répondre a nos questions & nous guider au long du processus. De plus, j'aurais préféré savoir d'avance que la cuisine ferme tôt au lieu de l'apprendre sur place à la dernière minute.

via LibroI had a really great time with my friend & found that the overall concept of the place was simply genius. I would see myself coming back to either paint w/ a friend or after having a mental breakdown because the experience was very relaxing haha. It's only missing one star because some of the staff lacked professionalism & was rude. I waited 30 mins for a panini that frankly takes maximum of 10 mins to make.

via LibroLots of fun but a little confusing for first timers. Took about 1 hour to understand what to do but once we figured it out we enjoyed it. A little more explanation would have been helpful especially where to find supplies for special techniques. Will come again now that we know how it all works.

Very fun activity to do in a group! It can be slightly costly, but they provide all the paints & materials to work with. There's a student discount from Mon-Thur after 5pm.
Good variety of ceramics to choose from too.
