Le Céramic Café-Studio, une franchise unique! Un studio de peinture sur céramique, un café-restaurant ainsi qu'une boutique, tout dans un même lieu. Depuis son ouverture en 1997, on se donne rendez-vous au Céramic Café-Studio. Que l'on soit artiste débutant ou peintre accompli, seul, en famille ou entre amis, on peut venir y peindre des céramiques originales, personnalisées et pratiques au quotidien. Les réputés paninis y sont fameux, les smoothies délicieux et les cafés réconfortants. Le Céramic Café de la rue St-Denis à Montréal est le premier Céramic Café qui a ouvert au Québec, en 1997. Depuis 2007 il est au 4338 rue St-Denis, angle Marie-Anne près du métro Mont-Royal. Auparavant il était de l'autre côté de la rue au 4201 rue St-Denis, au coin de la rue Rachel. Les propriétaires et créateurs du concept, Paola Cacopardo et Gilles Geoffrion, sont les franchiseurs des quatre Céramic Café. Ce Céramic café de Montréal est disposé sur 2 étages et il peut accueillir jusqu'à 100 personnes. L'équipe du Céramic Café de Montréal se déplace aussi loin qu'a Gatineau afin d'offrir l'activité de peinture sur céramique à des groupes tels que les écoles et services de garde, les camps d'été, les partys de bureau, les showers, les fêtes d'enfants et autres occasions. As much as I liked the activity, the staff was horrible. The numerous times they've asked if we've paid despite having the transaction done several seconds ago, & in front of their own colleagues. Honestly felt like they were hoping to con their customers in paying for the "members," that they claimed did not pay even though they've been paid for. The other problem I noticed is that after receiving the ceramics was that all of the pottery were chipped at the bottom, & the paint that was originally there before giving to the employees were suddenly removed after the final product was received. So clearly, you're paying a hefty amount for a shitty job from this facility. I wouldn't recommend going here again, if anything find another place to enjoy this activity.

I've gone twice to this place & have enjoyed them both times. Whether with friends, on a date or on your own, I think this is a fun activity. There are plenty of paint color options as well as ceramics to choose from. All tools are provided. I definitely wish they had more variety in brushes & of higher quality, maybe an option for those more skilled or for more detailed work. I would recommend bringing your own brushes. The place can get a bit warm too, wish it had better ventilation. As for the food & drinks, I can't say as I have never ordered, but I've had no issues bringing bubble tea in. Staff are nice as well.

it's a really fun activity to do with friends! the vibes in the cafe are very good. Do recommend getting a reservation as it gets busy in the afternoon.

The experience is nice for group activity , however it took forever waiting to get our turns & when we got a text message that its our turn, & we got there they told us we have to wait an extra hour & that the message system went wrong, after explaining that we were not happy about that ,the girls where not very nice to us ! Also when we wanted to go get the ceramics , we waited for a long time too!

Such a fun activity! You begin by choosing a pottery item & the selection is huge! There is so much to paint varying in sizes, prices, utilities! After that you can pick your paint colours & there is a helpful chart showing you what the colours will look like once your product is glazed. There is also lots of helpful information on painting technique & style. Once you settle in with all of that, you can order drinks & food & it is the most enjoyable way to spend an afternoon or evening. I highly recommend & it's a surprise when you go back a week later to pick up your creation! You pay by the hour & per item.

Very fun activity with friends. Would recommend planning to stay for 3 hours because you get carried away with painting for hours! The student evenings are great since you don't have to worry about the length of stay affecting your bill. Will definitely return!

The staff were very polite, helpful & kind. My daughter & her 2 friends had a great time picking out their ceramics & painting them. Overall a lovely way to spend a few hours, especially on a cold winter day. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon -- it was the highlight of my daughter's birthday! One important note: It is a bit pricey -- so I suggest budgeting for this activity.
