Céramic Café provides a creative environment where patrons engage in ceramic painting while consuming a menu of sandwiches and diverse dessert selections. Guests select unpainted pottery pieces to personalize with provided brushes, glazes, and stencils at their individual tables. The menu focuses on straightforward culinary options including pressed sandwiches served alongside various sweet treats like cakes and pastries. Staff handle the glazing and kiln firing process for all completed pottery works to ensure a durable final finish. This facility functions as a multifunctional space that integrates artistic expression with casual dining habits. Visitors utilize the available supplies to craft functional items while enjoying light refreshments. All finished ceramic projects remain at the studio for firing and become available for collection by the creators at a later designated date.
Céramic Café is a popular destination for those looking to express their creativity in a relaxed and cozy environment, making it an excellent choice for dates, group outings, or family activities. Visitors generally appreciate the vast selection of ceramic pieces and the variety of paint options available, often describing the painting process as peaceful and enjoyable. While many guests praise the creative atmosphere and the ability to enjoy drinks and snacks while they work, experiences with customer service and the final quality of fired pieces can be inconsistent. Some patrons find the pricing structure regarding hourly fees and item costs to be clear, whereas others find it confusing or expensive. Additionally, while many appreciate the helpfulness of the staff, several reviews mention a lack of engagement or professionalism from certain employees, and concerns regarding the durability of finished ceramics or potential damage during the firing process have been noted. Reservations are highly recommended, especially on weekends, due to the high volume of visitors.
Fun activity to do with friends & family or as a couple for date night! I do wish you are given more of an explanation on how to use the different tools & the attitude of the woman at the cash was nicer, other than that it's a cool experience.
We popped in to decorate a ceramic piece (options abound: vases, piggy banks, candle holders, & other temptations), but after much deliberation, we committed to the noble mug. Three & a half blissful hours later-yes, 3.5-we emerged victorious, slightly paint-splattered, deeply focused, & wildly proud of every tiny detail. Time truly flies when you're deciding whether that leaf needs one more shade of green.
Since it's also an actual café, you can sip, snack, & craft simultaneously. It's creative, cozy, & very enjoyable.
Perfect for a chill afternoon, a wholesome date, or an activity with kids (just… maybe don't bring 80 of them at once).
It took a week for us to get our finished product back, & it was really reasonably priced!
All in all, a delightfully hands-on experience that feeds both your inner artist & your caffeine dependency. Highly recommend.

Céramic Café Studio Montréal is a fun & creative spot where you can paint your own ceramic pieces while enjoying coffee, snacks, & a relaxed atmosphere. It's perfect for a date, family outing, or chill afternoon with friends - choose your pottery, pick from lots of colors, & bring your design to life.
The greatest place ever. It was so fun & cute to go & paint some pottery. It was such an amazing experience, & I will totally be going again. 10/10 would recommend for a date.
Nice place to go for an intimate date or with friends if you're looking for an artsy experience. It's original & you have a lot of pieces to choose from.
On the other hand, we stayed for almost 4 hours & the waitress only passed by our table once at the beginning, did not check to make sure things were ok or if we needed help, so about the pieces you will be really on yourself.
If it's your first time I'd recommend you to pick something small since the bigger the piece, more time will be spent there & you pay by hour basically. Good thing is that they give a students' discount.
Only that would have made me rate it a 4 star, but at the end we had an unpleasant time with the cashier, she really switched her mood when she saw we weren't going to tip (she was actively looking at the terminal to check what tip option we would choose from), & for obvious reasons we didn't feel at all like tipping.
I have to add that we also had to wash our own brushes at the end.
Une très bonne expérience & l'ambiance est relaxante. C'est un endroit parfait pour être en amis ou un solo date. Il y a beaucoup de choix de céramique. J'y retournerai.
Perfect place for a cute date with your partner or friends. You can drink some good coffee or tea while painting cute ceramics that you can bring back home after 2 weeks.
