Reviews describe Casserole Kréole as delivering delicious Creole and Haitian inspired dishes with fast, friendly service and good portion sizes for the price. The menu is praised for authentic flavors and a homemade feel, with highlights like griot and pikliz that have a kick and dishes such as poulet jerk and riz djondjon that resonate with diners. A few notes include some concerns about meat portions shrinking over time, occasional order inaccuracies, and a small seating area that leans toward takeout, along with a tense phone interaction and delivery mixups in one instance. Overall the sentiment is strongly positive, with many recommending the restaurant and saying they would return on future trips to Montreal.
It was an absolute amazing experience tasting the food from this restaurant for the first time. I came with a few people who highly recommended it & I did not know I was in for a treat! The service was wonderful, the atmosphere was pleasant, & the food was delicious! If you are looking for a new Creole restaurant in Montreal, this is the place.
Absolutely phenomenal Haitian food in MTL! It was our first time here & Andy was very helpful in making recommendations. The dishes were flavourful, the pikliz had a nice kick, & the hospitality made us feel right at home. We will definitely be back here on our next trip to MTL. 10/10 would recommend!
Very good food, at a reasonable price. Friendly & welcoming cook. Small area to sit & eat but people were mostly coming in to take out so I guess it's not a problem.
Definetely recommend for Haitian food, it was delicious. They also had all kinds of carribean spices/sauces & jams for sale, which all looked yummy :)
Everything was good. Griot was crispy but not hard & was very tasty! Service was fast & the chef was very nice.
The place is small & doesn't have a-lot of seating, but that makes the ambiance better !
À mon avis, c'est le meilleur griot & poulet jerk à Montréal ! Sourire garanti chaque fois que j'y vais. Une équipe incroyable avec une belle énergie contagieuse. Je suis un grand fan.
