Beef patty had no taste, the bun was mushi, the poutine was average & salty. Overall, 5 guys is better.
Ps. The place was very clean, including the bathrooms, nice decor, & clean all around.

Space is small but there is ample seating when I arrived there on Saturday afternoon.
I got the Cali burger & Ol' Dirty Fries. They were tasty, satisfying & very filling.
It would be even better if the loaded fries had meat in it & if there was more sauce. The fries are soft & they look homemade. If you are not a fan of soft fries, I would recommend not getting it.
Been there 3-4 times before & ordered today in honor of 4/20 & here is my review: i absolutely love this restaurant. Usually go for the happy burger but went for the cali this time & OMG i just love it. Added a poutine with that & it tasted like the Disney magic i missed from my childhood. On site, the place is a gen-x dream come true: wordup magazine & old school kung fu flick pics all over the walls, bumpin' hip hop & a hella friendly staff. The burgers there are so good that even though i f***** hate pickles, i forgot to tell them to remove the pickles & ate it all up like it was nothin'. Easter magic

Poutine (Un seul format) - 9$ - 8/10
Ça faisait un petit bout que je voulais y aller sous la recommandation de plusieurs personnes & j'ai été agréablement surpris par la qualité. C'est un petit spot dans un sous-sol avec bien du cachet. On dirait un speakeasy casse-croûte. Il y a 5 items sur le menu, 2 burgers, 3 accompagnements. C'est efficace & j'aime ce genre de concept qui nous évite de nous casser la tête. Leurs burgers sont assez réputés, donc j'ai décidé d'y goûter en complément de la poutine. Anyways, on est ici pour la poute alors voici la review.
Frites: Ce sont des juliennes très bien exécutées. J'ai aimé ce format car ça fait changement des plus grosses frites auquelles on est habitué. En ayant une coupe de style julienne ça permet de mieux'moduler' la grosseur de tes bouchées (très autiste comme commentaire) & aussi ça réparti bien le goût de la patate.
Sauce: C'est une sauce brune bien basic. Il y avait peut-être un manque au niveau de la consistance, mais la quantité était à point & j'aime normalement quand il y a beaucoup de sauce. CEPENDANT, il faut aussi absolument ajouter que j'ai pris un extra'BACON JAM'. C'est une genre de confiture de bacon, jalapeno & oignon caramélisé qu'ils ajoutent dans le burger. Je l'ai demandé à part & j'ai mis la moitié dans le burger & l'autre dans la poutine. Honnêtement cette sauce était incroyable & ça a de beaucoup amélioré la poutine & la sauce. GROS HACK. Ça devrait être de base dans la poutine. La note aurait été plus haute!
Fromage: Le fromage était frais & faisait squik. Il y en avait juste assez. C'était selon ce qu'on s'attend d'une bonne poutine.
Cohésion: Comme je l'ai mentionné avec les frites, le type de coupe'julienne' fait en sorte qu'on a vraiment une bonne cohésion au niveau des bouchées. Pour moi chaque bouchée était équivalente & c'est un critère très important dans une poutine. Le bacon jam en extra y était aussi pour beaucoup. Ça donne un autre niveau à la poutine.
Extras: J'ai aussi pris un burger CALI. Oignon, laitue, tomate, pickle, fromage. Un bon classique avec leur sauce MDMH. C'est honnêtement le genre de burger qui me donne envie de faire des reviews de burger. En complément de la poutine c'était insane. Je lui donne un 10/10. Le burger a littéralement volé le show. Encore une fois, le bacon jam a fait la différence.
Je recommande le spot, ça vaut le détours & en bonus le staff est super friendly!

Fantastic hamburger. One of the BEST in Montreal. Finally got to try this place on a Friday night. We got here when the lineup was only halfway. It quickly filled up. By the time you order & get your food, there is a spot to sit & eat. We had the Cali burger. Potato bun. MDMH sauce which is better than BigMac sauce. Double pattie burger. Fries & a poutine. The Cali burger is excellent. Sadly I did not like the fries, but my date did. The poutine was just ok. The burger is so good that I will go back many times. The service is execellent. The cashier managed to be friendly & jovial despite the endless lineup. All our food came out to 40$ taxes included.
Le meuilleur burger , leur old dirty fries sont bonnes aussi. A Tester si vous venez à Mtl. A chaque fois c est un véritable plaisir . Burger dans la plus simple tradition smash avec la sauce maison. Belle décoration & bonne musique pour les kiffeurs de hip hop & des annees 90 .Merci à l équipe
Great burger great shoe strings fries... ( The dirty fries are great). Easy friendly service, not much space to sit & eat stools & counters only & in the summer they have a few Pik Nik tables outside. So far all the people I've brought there love the food. Also if you don't know the place you'll walk right by it, there is no name outside just the smell of their burgers. Try it.
Excellent simple smash burger. The fries weren't good, mushy & no seasoning. It's a busy small place so expect to wait a little.
So happy this place opened not long ago. I had an amazing smash burger (had more than one 😋) & fried & a soft drink.. The open kitchen visible from the stool seating makes for a great vibe while waiting for & eating your food. The taste was excellent, price not too high & service was fairly quick for the amount of orders they had on the go! I would recommend going out of your way to try this place.
Love their burgers. Poutine was also good, wished it was with deli style fries though, thick cut & a little soft. That's just my personal preference.
Super burgers & fries, my new go to place in Montreal. Wish it was a little bigger inside & more comfortable to "sit" but that's part of the vibe. The food is awesome so no complaints.
