We celebrated our daughter's baptism with breakfast at CDI, & Carol & the entire staff truly went above & beyond. We were a group of about 20 guests, & everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food. Everything was absolutely delicious.
A few weeks prior, we had gone for breakfast to try the restaurant, & Carol personally came out to every table asking guests how they enjoyed their food & interacting with everyone. It immediately felt like such a warm & welcoming place.
On the day of our celebration, Carol surprised us by beautifully decorating our table, something we absolutely did not expect & that touched us so much. You can genuinely feel the love & care that goes into this restaurant. It's rare to find a place that treats its customers with such kindness & attention to detail.
It truly is a very special place. Thank you for making such an important day even more memorable. Highly recommend!

Shame on me for not knowing about this new found gem sooner! I am the biggest brunch fan I know. I could start every one of my days with a brunch. I hunt down restaurants in New York, New Jersey & Montreal for the best brunch menus, & Caro Resto (CDI) greatly satisfied my hunger. The food was delicious & Carol the owner, made it a point to approach every table. When she got to ours she simply was making sure everything was to our liking, & that service was impeccable. I was astounded & thought I have finally found my spot in the West Island, & I am also so proud to support a local proprietor. I will be back!

We visited Restaurant CDI for breakfast on Sunday morning, & overall had a really pleasant experience. I'm vegan & my wife is not, & the staff were genuinely friendly & attentive. Coffee was always topped up, which is always appreciated.
They even offer oat milk, which is a big plus if you're vegan or avoiding dairy. While there isn't currently a dedicated vegan breakfast on the menu, our server went out of her way to help & brought over the owner, Marie-Carole. She was incredibly kind & took the time to put together a custom vegan breakfast for me with sautéed vegetables, fresh fruit, breakfast potatoes, homemade baked beans, & rye bread without butter.
Everything was tasty, thoughtful, & satisfying. My wife also really enjoyed her breakfast. Great service, welcoming atmosphere, & a place that clearly cares about its guests.
I usually don't post unless I was really impressed, I went t for breakfast with my girlfriend at this new restaurant & we were both very impressed! The place was spotless, the service was attentive & friendly & the food was fresh & delicious cooked to perfection. Also the owner comes to the table & asks if everything was good! Service was great! Different servers passed by multiple times to check on our food & to refill our water & coffee. One particular waiter was friendly & joked around with our kids.
The food was fantastic! I've been to multiple popular breakfast restaurants in the west island where some places are either good but too expensive, or the price is reasonable but food is just mediocre.
Among the ones we've tried in the West Island, CDI is the best one so far. The potatoes were a delight, it's crispy on the outside & tender on the inside. The eggs benedict was cooked perfectly. The salad & fruits on the side of the plate were good & fresh. In terms of price, quantity & quality, it hit all the marks.

Update: I went back & ordered La Belle Caro & it was so delicious!
Restaurant CDI is such a great spot! The potatoes were absolutely delicious, & I really enjoyed the warm, family-style ambiance. The service was excellent too & they checked in at just the right moments to make sure everything was perfect without ever being intrusive.
