I ordered food for take out (11/20/2025) the lady that serviced me didn't seem patient & friendly. I ordered Ackee/saltfish with rice & peas that included a side of fried chicken (2 pieces). When I went in my car to eat, the food was cold, including the fried chicken. The dumpling tasted like it was old. I am 100% sure I will not be back to purchase food from the restaurant. The qualify & service is not the same.

I ordered the sweet & sour fried chicken it was very sweet & tasty but l was very disappointed with the portion size . The chicken pieces were way too small & l was expecting a much bigger portion than what l paid for (16.99)

We catered food for 35 people from here & wow, the food spoke for itself! The stew chicken, curry goat, rice & peas waas everything you could imagine. They didn't skimp on the meat either. Everyone kept talking about how good it was. Would definitely order from here again &/or dine in regularly

Jerk Chicken & all the accoutrements was excellent. Meat was generous, well seasoned , the meal overall was very generous for the price, spice is there, plantain was moist, worth your time & business!

I just chomped through my jerk chicken! I've been craving jerk for MONTHS & I cant stress this enough but THAT BOMBOCLATT CHICKEN SLAPPED everything hit the spot. The sweet plantain, rice, fried ball & gravy was delicious! Perfect amount of jerk sauce on the chicken. Just wow.

Don't get me wrong the food is excellent, but the service is trash. Every time I go there it takes way too long to get my food. Well thats not really the issue because you know it fresh food. But 20$ for 4 little pieces of chicken is outrageous plus I PAID FOR PLATAINS & NEVER received them. Take in mind I paid for them & asked if everything was there & the person said yes!
I would like them to change that aspect of their services, because the food is exceptional.

This place was amazing when it first opened before the lockdowns, & it still is pretty good but quality has gone down a bit. Quality varies from item to item & from the time of the day. The time it takes for you take get your food can wildly vary as well. You can make a pickup order on the phone & have your food ready in about only 5 minutes, but if you dine in sometimes it can take you a very very long time for the same item ordered. The jerk chicken is almost always excellent & it's what I usually order. The stew & curry chicken are pretty good too. The ackee & saltfish is good too, but it barely has any fish in it. The rice & peas can range from excellent when you happen to get it relatively fresh & fragrant with coconut otherwise sometimes it can be a bit stale. The plantains are kinda almost always insipid, the dumplings are fine. The level of seasoning I find can be very inconsistent, sometimes the rice & peas & jerk chicken can be just perfect & other times it can be overly salty.
Overall I still like the place a lot & I'd recommend it to anyone. It still beats pretty much anything in the area & they are open 24/7. It's just that the quality will vary depending on the time of the day, & maybe depending on who's on shift in the kitchen.

The service was impeccable, the food was out of this world. BEST JERK CHICKEN in Montreal. I was still tasting jerk chicken after I left the restaurant. REAL AUTHENTIC JAMAICAN FOOD

Food was good. Ordering was an experience... ordered 2 chicken roti & 1 ox tail, he came out with our food we paid got in the car & had so much extra food ..they need a new receptionist..

Got there, asked the staff how long it would takr for our food to be ready, she said 10mins, waited 30mins. Order 1 jerk chicken plate & 1 curry chicken plate.
Got home, plantains are missing, festivals are missing & the hot sauce that we asked as extra was missing.
The food is just ok, not spicy enough, nor spiced enough.
Would not return.

Excellent jerk chicken- a must try.
Such great seasonings & flavours all throughout their jerk chicken plate. Great value as well at 14$. Good amount of heat too. Look forward to going back for fish & oxtail.

Very disappointed, ordered a beef stew, i even called to confirm if they have & said yes, when i got the food they gave us chicken i went to ask for a beef stew they said they dont have… they didnt even tell me they dont have when they were taking my orde

I had the jerk chicken - it was delicious & I kind of like how it feels like you're eating in your friend's living room. Also the portion was great for a hungry lady like me.
