I find myself in a bit of a dilemma while writing this review. After our go-to restaurant closed its doors, my boyfriend & I decided to give its second location a try. Unfortunately, our experience has been quite mixed. The old place set a high standard, though there was an odd situation with a waitress who insisted on dictating tips, that was annoying. Hopefully she won't be back when the restaurant relaunches. This location hasn't been consistent. On several occasions, we ordered the chicken plate only to find it undercooked in various places. Unlike the previous menu, they no longer offer boneless chicken breast, only boneless thighs, which is a noticeable difference in taste. The piri piri sauce seems to lack that rich flavor they used to have. Despite expecting more from their only remaining location, the overall experience was inconsistent, leaving us consistently disappointed. I am not sure if we'll be returning.
Mauvaise expérience avec le cuisinier (probablement haïtien) qui fait de l'intimidation aux clients. En plus, d'avoir l'haleine d'alcool, il est irrespectueux & arrogant envers la clientèle. Il m'a ouvertement dit de ne plus revenir à SON restaurant, après avoir argumenté sur son protocole de ramassage de commande en ligne.

La caissière est vraiment pas accueillante j'ai laissait un pourboire de 8$ est elle a même pas Die merci. J'ai pris pour emporter est elle nous sa même pas donner des ustensiles
Lundi 26 janvier 2026 vers 19:55 au Canthino sur Henri Bourassa, j'ai placé à la caisse une commande de 2 trios quart de poulet & un burger au poulet. Par la suite j'ai été m'asseoir à une table après réception de ma commande en attendant ma copine qui arriva vers 20:14, soit l'heure à laquelle la serveuse au comptoir nous informa de l'impossibilité de manger sur place en raison de la fermeture de la salle, en précisant que le restaurant ferme à 21:00, mais la salle ferme à 20:00. De ce fait nous n'avons pas pu manger notre commande comme prévu, en ayant été obligé de tout ramasser & partir. Après une journée de travail chargée, cette situation contraignante nous a été préjudiciable tant à nos droits de consommateurs qu'à notre respect, de part son aspect discriminatoire.
Je vous prie de bien vouloir diligenter une prompte intervention à cet effet afin d'élucider mon interrogation & ma compréhension de cette conduite vexatoire de cette employée à notre égard.

Malheureusement je ne peux pas mettre une bonne note a ce restaurant! Premièrement le poulet était froid & pas vraiment bien cuit! La sauce goûtait l'eau & le service n'étais pas génial non plus pas de sourire... Dans les premières années cétais tellement bon & là je sais plus ce qui ces passé avec ce restaurant!
Le restaurant ferme à 21 h, mais à 20 h les toilettes étaient déjà fermées. J'ai passé ma commande & on me l'a donnée comme si importer sans demander . J'ai demandé si je pouvais manger sur place, & on m'a répondu : On va fermer.
Je vais là depuis des années.. je suis aller acheter un poulet combo familial 43$ ,c'est du poulet réchauffé secs , zéro frais! (j'habite 30' de distance & j'ai garder le poulet dans le chaud tout le long de mon chemin)… j'ai appelé & ils m'ont dit de le ramener pour qui me le change , j'ai expliqué que je ne peux pas partir de chez moi faire 1:30 total de chemin pour LEUR erreur (30 min aller chez moi, 30 min aller chez eux & un autre 30 min retourner chez moi , voyons !!) elle m'a dit qu'elle peut rien d'autre faire pour moi. Peut être ils vont me payer mon essence aussi pour tous ces voyages là? C'est sur que je retourne pas la ! Inacceptable! Allez y au supermarché acheter un poulet à 10$ & vous serez beaucoup plus satisfait, je vous le garantis!!
This is the worst by far i've had from you! When you barely opened you were soo good & gave great portions & i understand the economy isn't so good these days but i will definitely be going to PFK from now since buying'chicken' from you is clearly impossible now, no all you get for half a chichen is 4 little freaking chickens. PFK definitely does better than you & is way cheaper! You should be ashamed to give service like this & to have your workers justify it with'sometimes the chickens are smaller' or'you ordered more fries therefore the chicken is less'!!!! Wtaf!!! Never again!
We reserved for our christmas family party for pick up.
When we got home with our food it was still piping hot! Food was super fresh chicken was tender & juicy! The sauces on chicken was delicious! The little round potatoes were a huge hit at our table!
We highly recommend cantinho's for delicious Portuguese chicken!
I have been a customer for several years. I mainly order now with Door Dash. Food always arrives hot & delicious. Great charcoal chicken & spiced just right
