Caffè San Simeon was one of the absolute highlights of our time in Montreal. From the moment my friend & I walked in, we felt transported straight back to Rome. & just look at the photos-the gorgeous interior, the old-world charm, the warmth, & the energy of this place are something special. It has the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to settle in & stay awhile.

We became so enamored with Caffè San Simeon that we came back as many times as we possibly could during our short stay-& every visit was just as special. The cappuccinos & Americanos were fantastic, & we happily worked our way through the biscotti, croissants, pastries, & tiramisu. Everything was delicious.

But what really made Caffè San Simeon unforgettable was the family behind it, including the lovely Sandra. They are incredibly warm, welcoming, & genuine. They recognized us & greeted us with the kind of familiarity you normally only experience at your neighborhood café. For a few days, they made us feel less like visitors to Montreal & more like locals who had found their regular spot.

& Sandra, we'll be wearing our Caffè San Simeon tees proudly! ❤?

There are places you enjoy while traveling, & then there are places that become part of the memory of the trip itself. Caffè San Simeon was absolutely that for us. We already miss it & can't wait to come back.

The market wasn't quite open yet so I stopped for a coffee & croissant. The cappucino was lovely & the croissant was big, flaky, & deliciously buttery.

The ambience was nice & you can tell this place has a lot of dedicated regulars. Wish I lived closer so I could become one too, there's no cafe like this near me.

Quel plaisir de s'arrêter à cette adresse iconique de la rue Dante. L'ambiance est vraiment chaleureuse avec ses murs décorés de fanions & de cadres qui témoignent de l'histoire du lieu.

J'ai savouré un délicieux croissant aux amandes, généreusement saupoudré de sucre glace, accompagné d'une boisson chaude. C'est l'endroit idéal pour faire une pause authentique à Montréal. Une expérience parfaite sur toute la ligne.

Friendly service & it has a lot of place to sit at inside & outside the coffee place ! I took a almond croissant with a hot chocolat & it was the perfect morning combo breakfast to take before a +12 hours shift at work. What a great start ! 🥐☕️ Will come back again to try their coffee next time or/& other things on the menu! ❤️
