cafe(24) coffee(18) lunch(11) breakfast(11) nata(10) fresh(9) sandwiches(9) recommend(8) omelette(8)Dined here 2 times recently, once for lunch & once for breakfast! Both times had a wonderful experience. The sandwiches are delicious!! The bread so fresh & crispy! Loved the sauce! Very pleased!! The plain omelette was great & came with a side of fresh fruit! Staff were friendly as well. Would recommend!!Voir plus
Used to come here often when I lived in Montréal 10+ years ago. Visited recently, for nostalgia's sake. The ambiance is nice; the food portions are quite small.Voir plus
We had the pruscuitto sandwich & the club Ferreira & bought the canard & fig & another Ferreira to go so the rest of the family can taste it too. Mocha was also good. Service was great & the place was clean & inviting. Sandwiches come with salad , we had the Greek & the beet salad. Both salads were good too.Voir plus
Great Portuguese spot for an espresso. Close to the hotel we were staying. I was happy to see the pastel the nata, it's ok not authentic as it would in Portugal. If you are going to serve something, I feel you need to out in the effort to make it authentic, serve it warm w powdered sugar. It was soggy, not good. N like $4! You order at the register n they'll bring you thd good.Voir plus
The food & coffee were great. Ambiance was beautiful.Voir plus
Had their natas. The best I've had & I'm not even a dessert type person. 2 star for atmosphere. Place is nice but can smell constant cigarette smell in non-smoke area.Voir plus
Charming little place to get a snack & a glass of delicious Portuguese wine ... or maybe a coffee & dessert ... or both!
Excellent cafe, great menu of options. They have really good coffee ☕️.Voir plus
Nice patio in summer time. Smoked salmon is nice but grand cappuccino is just okay(see others pics for reference. It's like a soup, more foamy than creamy). It's a bit expensive for what's included, but it's downtown, so.. maybe ?Voir plus
Best place to get a coffee & lunch in downtown Montreal, service is always good. Can't go wrong !!Voir plus
In search of heavenly pastels de nata? This is the place! We sat outside, & the smokers in the no-smoking zone diminished the otherwise wonderful experience.Voir plus
We enjoyed a seat on a nice patio for more than half an hour before receiving our breakfast. Breakfast was ok but we were charged excessively for each item in the omelette & there was very little in the actual omelet.Voir plus
I was out shopping & decided this looked like a nice place for a light lunch on a hot day. Unfortunately, I felt very unwelcome as a solo diner. Although it was after the noon peak, I was given the worst table right by the door despite others being available, & I felt quite ignored. I noticed that other diners had glasses with ice for their sparkling water while I was just handed a bottle, & beyond being told what table was mine & having someone unceremoniously drop my food on the table, I was largely ignored. I realize it is counter service but I also saw other guests being treated with more care. I ordered a salad trio, which was quite good in the heat when one has little appetite (it was during the heat wave). The food all looked really good, & it is obviously very popular. It would be somewhere I would return to on a future trip to Montréal if I had a more pleasant experience otherwise. 'm not sure if I hit an off day or if staff would be more friendly if I wasn't alone. I make an effort to use my French when possible, so I don't think this was the issue (although the counter staff did switch to English, which is common in Montréal if the person is bilingual). As someone who travels alone frequently, it's frustrating when I encounter this. I enjoy eating nice meals & I often go to quite good restaurants, & my experience is that the best places realize that solo diners are there to appreciate the food. I don't need a fuss at all, but I hate feeling unwelcome because I'm on my own.Voir plus
I love the atmosphere of this place & people are really nice. When we were there, we kinda felt like we were in Europe. However, I didn't have a good experience with the omelet that I ordered. The taste was good & the portion was also good. But then I felt ill & my stomach hurt a lot. I believe I had something not clean. I am sure its not caused by other food because it happened before dinner time & I only had one meal that day. I don't know if I got food poisoned but it was not a great experience. Other than that terrible experience, I had a nice experience there.Voir plus
Amazing service & the food is excellent! Came down for a couple drinks during F1 weekend, 10/10.Voir plus
