I can't believe I only just discovered this gem... such a beautiful warm place to have coffee & cake or a meal with friends. The Iranian coffee was excellent (& I am picky about my coffee) & the toranj tea & saffron cake were exquisite. The service was a bit hit or miss... the gentleman was very helpful & welcoming but the woman was apathetic. Great vibes & excellent food, we had such a memorable time, can't wait to come back!!View more

One of the orders was missed so that I had to call the cafe, & finally to fix the inconsistencies they sent me an additional meal. The manager's approach was considerated & I am satisfied in total. Also, the quality of the foods are truly good so I recommend the Toranj cafe.View more

I had a very disappointing experience at cafe Toranj. We went for breakfast & we were the first ones to arrive. I ordered a Persian breakfast, but they brought me a wrong one. My friends had to eat without me while I waited for my correct order. The waitress did not apologize or offer any compensation for the mistake. He was unprofessional. It seemed like he did not care about his job or the customers. I suggest that if you do not like your job, you should quit. I do not recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a nice brunch. About the brunch: The portion was good enough. It tasted delicious I only took picture of my friends's omelette.View more

Terrible service with yummy food! There is a section in the cafe that is behid a wall somehow & they are not able to see the section with sofa so this is the reason that they don't pay attention. The atmosphere is cute but needs a serious repairment cuz the coffee table that was infront of us was glued together & you could easily see the glue. The kadaif & saffron cake were very yummy.View more

Very nice, quaint, local business. We loved the Persian baklava & qottab & the coconut cookie. We also got a saffron latte that was very good, the saffron was great. Finally, the Nutella milkshake, which was delicious too. The staff are all very nice & speak Farsi & the ambiance was nice & calm too.View more

Such a cool place to sit & eat. Huge variety of eatables & drinks. We had masala tea. It was tea pot good enough for 3 people. But we personally felt it was enough for 4-5 people. It was one of the most awesome teas we had. Service was awesome. Nice staffView more

I ate the lamb neck & fessenjoun & I've previously tried the Revani. The food here is the best I've had in this city in a long time, & I love to eat & eat well. The lamb, especially, was straight from my childhood & the flavor was really beyond description. I ate lunch at the Ritz recently & the food here was light-years ahead of that. It is real home cooking but so refined. My new favorite restaurant & one everyone absolutely must try. I cannot recommend it enough. Also the rice is perfect :)View more
