I just went there to get a coffee with a friend & chat while there was blues music playing in the background. This place is kind of an institution in old longueuil. It was not really busy & the staff was friendly. I like to go there late at night when everything else seems to be close on the south shore.

Café Terrasse 1957 is a beautiful, intimate, warm place with great food & drinks. This is where I discovered Boréale Red. We were there in the evening & the armosphere was fantastic. Music was nice, & not loud. You can have a pleasant conversation, & the sound of the other conversarions around you create busy but nice & unintrusive surroundings, even though the tables are at the arms reach from each other. We were sitting inside but the terasse outside looked really inviting, but it was a bit cold evening, so we stayed indoors. The prices were quite reasonable & the service was friendly & fast. The inexpensive parking is available right there on the street in front of the café. Highly recommended.

I would have gone with 3.5 if I could, there is definitely a character to this place, not really busy in a Sunday afternoon, satff were super nice. But the burger was really bad. Chicken panini was good, suggested by the staff. I don't think I would be coming back though.
