My family came to Montreal for a week trip & we stayed in downtown. We fall in love with the restaurant & went three times during the week. The food is delicious & I love the avocado toast. My son likes the classic breakfast. My daughter is into the chocolate croissant & my husband tried a wide variety of foods all very well done! I also like the setting of the venue, very cozy & bright & a place you feel connection to immediately! The owner is very nice & has great heart to running the place.
The food was great, everything is homemade & done right. Juices & smoothies freshly made. We had salmon benedictines & French toast. Reasonable prices!
Generally a disappointment. Menu sounds delicious but the food was across the board tasteless. I don't understand how an avocado toast with egg & pesto on a sesame bagel could be so totally lacking in flavor. The side salad that accompanied the toast was also just a variety of texture, no flavor at all. The sweet & savory special was hilarious at the small size of the miniature waffles, which was unexpected, but on the whole OK. The potatoes, which looked like they would be amazing, tasted like nothing. Again just texture. Coffee was also bad. Service was scarce & hard to get anyone's attention. Very loud & hard to have a conversation. They can't all be gems.
