Hands down, the best Roman-style pizza in the city! Cornetto is right up there too.
Coffee is back to being superb as well! I won't lie their coffee had me worried a few years ago at it wasn't tasty at all. They seemed to have switched to a better blend which made me very happy!
Cafe San Genaro is always a good time. You immediately feel at home or in Italy where you can get some coffee with a glass if water & eat the BEST bombolone ever. Their ameretti with apricot jam is delicious & their breakfast pizza with an egg on top is the heartiest for a busy day!!

First time here. The wait was short. It was packed. A full & popular spot in little Italy. The food is great, I really enjoyed the focaccia & the cannolis. The service is nice. But the coffee was just okay honestly for 6$ it wasn't worth it. The Spicy honey was very light so just ok.
Service is always prompt & friendly, the coffee is classic & Italian, & the desserts are stunning. So is the pizza, but the desserts make it for me! Try the tiramisu which is creamy, & made with cake instead of lady fingers (it's light on the booze taste too).
A perfect café for a casual brunch! The pizza is super soft & tasty; the cannolis & bombolonis are a must-try. I love the pistachio flavour the most. The coffee is also excellent. They have outdoor seating in summer, perfect for a relaxing weekend vibe. Highly recommend!

The best Cortado I have ever had. Their coffee is top notch. We came every day we were in town after discovering. Their apricot & fig bites are to die for. Their sandwiches & pizza slices are top notch as well. You should go out of your way to try this place, I promise you will not regret it. 10/10 place, I wish I lived in Montreal just for this cafe. I want to go back just so I can have their food & drinks again it was that good. I work in delivery. The staff greeted me very kindly. I had a large order, but thanks to the staff, the wait was very pleasant. I was offered a cup of coffee & treated to a donut with pistachios. Good coffee but the bombolone was so not generous in filling.. it's pretty much what you see on top plus tiny bit more inside. Hope it's a one off. At that price I find it very disappointing.

Cafe San Gennaro is in my top 3 cafe shops in Montreal. The coffee is great & the food is amazing. Their breakfast pizza is a standout. The cannoli's are one of the best in the city. Don't walk here, run.
Like this place is everything, it's a gem in the heart of MTL,I go there since two years & I can't describe the taste, go & discover it yourself, & oh yes I recommend everything but specially the Canolli 😍🥹🥹, atmosphere is not bad I wish that they have tables to sit & enjoy coffee & desserts during winter like they do during the summer ❤️
