Great little spot for some seasonal coffee. Wish they had their single origins to try rather than their same rotations.
Café Saint-Henri at Jean-Talon Market on a Sunday morning is a great spot - with one caveat.
The matcha latte missed the mark for me. If matcha is your order, you may want to look elsewhere. Stick to the coffee - that's clearly where their strength lies.
What saved the visit & then some were the sweets. The pistachio croissant was loaded with puréed pistachio - generous, indulgent, exactly what you want alongside a morning coffee. The chocolate chunk cookie was equally decadent. The kind of baked goods you find yourself thinking about on the way home.
The ambiance is charming & the setting at Jean-Talon is perfect for a slow Sunday morning. & the detail of coffees being handed through the window? A small thing that adds a lot of character to the experience.
Worth a visit - just order the coffee & load up on the pastries.

Extremely packed on weekends. Coffee was fine but not great. Staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, especially with table service. They could use some more help.
I love Cafe St. Henri's coffee, & try to support local businesses. But if I pay $5 dollar for a filter coffee with tip, how is it reasonable that I am not allowed to pour my own milk into the coffee? It's a very individual thing & shouldn't be up to a barista to slosh in a random amount of milk. This isn't Tim Hortons; I would like to pour my own milk, the quantity I desire. Also: no bathroom! What!
Good but expensive coffee. They dont have bathrooms though so be warned :
The baristas here are super friendly & welcoming. Great coffee & atmosphere as well. One suggestion would be to have larger tables, but everything else is great.
