About

Café Saint-Henri functions as a specialized hub for high-quality coffee roasting and artisanal pastry production. The roasting process emphasizes precise temperature control to highlight the distinct flavor profiles of single-origin beans sourced from ethical producers globally. Visitors encounter a minimalist industrial aesthetic characterized by exposed mechanical equipment and functional seating arrangements designed for efficiency. The pastry program focuses on traditional techniques, offering selections like buttery croissants and seasonal fruit tarts that pair directly with the acidic profiles of light roast brews. Every beverage prepared utilizes calibrated brewing methods to ensure consistent extraction across every cup served. This establishment maintains a rigorous focus on the chemistry of caffeine and the technical craft of baking within a streamlined, high-traffic commercial environment that prioritizes sensory clarity over ornamentation.

We ordered two breakfast sandwiches, but they mistakenly gave us a breakfast sandwich & a vegetarian wrap. They took so long to arrive that we didn't want to wait for a replacement.
The sandwich & wrap were not very interesting & definitely not worth the money.
The coffee was fine, & the location is nice close to the market.

The quality is truly good, but the cups are so astonishingly small for the price that it doesn't feel worth it.

This was listed as one of the top coffee places in North America (not just Montreal) & conveniently located across from Marché Jean-Talon, so naturally, we had to stop. We each got coffee & split a pistachio-raspberry doughnut. The coffee was excellent & the doughnut wasn't overly sweet. The barista was pleasant as well.

They have some seats inside, but the tables are small & intended for groups of two.

Very good coffee so much there always is a queue here everytime. There are half a dozen tables & chairs on the front & some other settings inside the cafe. The ambiance is cozy & tasty, as their coffee. Attentive service.

Small coppuccino for the price of a big coppuccino. The temperature of the coppuccino was colder than I like to drink my coffee.

The barista was extremely rude to my family. She belittled one of us in front of a group of people. We don't speak French & this is a clear tourist area so I'm not sure what she expected. Regardless, you don't have to be rude to people. After seeing other comments about the staff being rude it feels very validating.
