J'y suis allée une fois & j'ai eu un service avec une jeune femme à l'attitude d'adolescente, presque la moue & je semblais la déranger.
J'ai donné une seconde chance à l'endroit car j'aime encourager les commerces locaux, & malheureusement, le service n'était guerre mieux… très dommage car l'endroit est mignon.
De plus, j'y allais pour daire moudre du café pour ma Gaggia. La première fois, je leur ai fait confiance avec leurs barèmes & la mouture était aussi grosse que pour un percolateur… ark. Quand j'y suis retournée, j'ai demandé s'ils connaissaient la gaggia & ils ont dit oui. Je leur ai demandé un peu plus fin que la dernière fois: résultat: encore bcp trop grosse comme mouture. Pour moi, c'est terminé.
Extremely packed on weekends. Coffee was fine but not great. Staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, especially with table service. They could use some more help.
I love Cafe St. Henri's coffee, & try to support local businesses. But if I pay $5 dollar for a filter coffee with tip, how is it reasonable that I am not allowed to pour my own milk into the coffee? It's a very individual thing & shouldn't be up to a barista to slosh in a random amount of milk. This isn't Tim Hortons; I would like to pour my own milk, the quantity I desire. Also: no bathroom! What!
J'ai goûté tous les cafés du marché Jean-Talon &, comme j'étais pressé aujourd'hui, j'en ai pris un ici (c'était d'ailleurs le dernier qu'il me restait à essayer). Malheureusement, le service était mauvais. J'ai commandé un grand moka (7,76 $), ce qui me semble cher, mais ok. Cependant, on m'a servi un café qui me semblait petit par rapport aux autres verres à emporter, qui étaient plus grands. Je n'y ai pas prêté attention, mais quand je l'ai goûté, il était très amer, au point de donner l'impression d'être périmé.
Entre le goût du café & le service, cet établissement est définitivement rayé de ma liste.
I came in 20 minutes before closing & the barrista was genuinely happy to see us even though she was preparing to close. She answered all my questions with no rush & very kindly. The iced cold brew hit the spot on a hot afternoon.
Chacun ses goûts, mais pour ma part j'ai trouvé que le goût de leurs espresso est trop surette. Cependant, peut être bon pour d'autre... Outre que cela, super service.
