Avis pour Café Romy
Coffee was really good. Service ok. Pastry was so dry it had to be from 2 days ago. I was told, rather rudely, that I needed to leave to make room for paying customers, probably because I had my coffee in my own tumbler & had already brought my tray back? I showed my reciept & to their credit, they apologized, but I will still not return.
Nice little cafe. We were served by beautiful Armenian young lady & a man.
The coffee was pleasant, the crab salad & date cake, were good.
Worst cafe ever! The people working there are always mad or something with such a bad attitude & mood ! As if you're asking them free coffee 🤣 dude we are paying our coffee least you can do is smile at your customers ! Last time i was waiting in line & they literally went the other side of their counter to serve another person before me although it was my turn .. honestly & their stuff are expired & not good at all, so please at least fix your ugly attitude
Went here to get an espresso before shopping. The guy at the counter didn't even acknowledge my presence despite the fact I was the only there! No mad line up or rush. Just me. Looked almost like I was bothering him. No hello, thank you or anything. The coffee was terrible. I think there is a minimum courtesy required in the food & beverage industry. When a customer shows up & you can't even manage an'hello', it's pretty sad. Anyway, first & last time at this place.
Romy Cafe is right at the mall entrance, perfect for a quick coffee on the go. I had a cappuccino & it was really good! Not the best place to sit, but great for a fast takeaway while shopping.
The good location for the indoor terrace, next to the shopping mall gardens, grants this three stars due to the nice seating area. Others have left many scathing bad reviews but I would love to see this place flourish to its potential, so here are some suggestions: the menu really needs more options for tea drinkers. Would also be nice to offer cold brew for easy to make rich tasting less acidic coffee. As for the pastries, they are like the cheapest past date thing you can find in a grocery store, so I suggest asking any pastry lovers with functioning taste buds to help develop that part of the menu using a little taste testing. There are lots of great local suppliers & you could probably attract a grateful fresh new clientèle if you stocked anything from Susie Sans Gluten for instance.
Great service & coffee! Good assortment of sweetsare always good & fresh.
