Dans l'ensemble, Café Redwood est décrit comme un café chaleureux avec un café fort, une ambiance amicale et un menu qui met en valeur les pâtisseries et sandwiches faits maison; les éléments phares incluent le latte dulce de leche, le matcha à la rose et à la mangue, et une gamme de pâtisseries fraîches comme les madeleines, les choux, les choux à la crème et les palmiers, ainsi que des sandwichs populaires comme le toast à l'avocat, le sandwich Caprese et le BLT Wasabi, tous préparés sur place et servis avec un service attentif mais parfois lent les jours de grande affluence; si beaucoup louent le personnel accueillant et l'espace polyvalent pour travailler ou se réunir, certains notent que les prix sont élevés et que le service peut être inégal ou lent, avec quelques longues attentes ou des moments moins chaleureux occasionnels.
Tasty french toast, but overpriced since it didn't fill me up. It has the texture of a cannelé. Very good chou with generous filling. The dulce de leche latte was nice, but nothing special. I'd try it iced. Overall I paid almost 40$ for these 3 items so depends on your budget. I would try the other pastries, but not brunch again.

Have been living in Griffintown for a few years & had somehow never heard of Redwood until yesterday, when a friend told me they make one of the best iced lattes in this area. She was not lying!
Went in this morning to try their dulce de leche iced latte & WOW, it's the first time I've had a flavored coffee that wasn't overly sweet & was actually delicious. I also grabbed a regular cappuccino for my partner (who is very picky about coffee), & he said it was great too.
Definitely order something from their baked goods as well. I tried the blueberry muffin & it was delicious.
The staff were so friendly & kind. I'll definitely be back & highly recommend!
Beginning with the ordering process, the staff didn't know what ingredients were in the beef sandwich I wanted to order. I decided to order anyway & planned to dine in with my friends. I asked for a regular cup for my coffee, not a paper cup; however, they still served my coffee in a paper cup.
In addition, it took a very long time for them to prepare the sandwich. After waiting for quite a while, I ended up canceling my order. The barista was also very rude & tried to convince me that the delay was somehow my problem.
The quality of their food & drinks might be good according to other reviews, but my experience at this place was horrible. I will definitely not go back & will share my experience with others who are considering going there.

The prices are kind of too much for the quality of the food. Also the matcha was not good, don't take it if you love matcha! It just tastes like milk & syrup. The atmosphere was nice! Think.

Lovely cafe, good variety on methods, coffee types, lots of specialty coffee beans available for purchase. I wish they had more savory options, I had the avocado toast with bacon, latte & a pour over. Everything was tasty, fresh & nicely done. Service was great as well, definitely would recommend to specialty coffee lovers!
